Damn I would like to join but I dont think my pokemon are ready yet >.> *edit* Never mind! Just read what Noah said. We don't have to worry about being at equal levels because we can always set it up so our pokes are level 100 or 50 in online battles. So I might enter then. Not too sure though yet |

Same here. I never bother catching poke'mon with specific emotions or equip any tourney-recommended items. I just catch whatever poke'mon I like not caring if they're "happy", "angry" or any other natural emotion And I know what you're going to say Alberto and it's not going to work. I catch and play Poke'mon for fun. Not spend endless hours looking for a Bagon with a specific nature that makes it UBER in tournaments. I catch what I like regardless of perfect stats |

I would kill 50 Zigzagoons and expect my Gallade to gain a +7 in speed for that level up. |

EV training is basically giving a pokemon a 30 extra points of your preferred stat, you can get up to 30 extra points in 5 stats of the 6.
You get these points anyway as you train it but there is a way for you to control which stats get the points. That is what we call EV training.
I could go into more detail but its a lot to tell.
