Okay so in a few of the leaked rosters they have cel-shaded Link as a PC to replace young link. I,after playing Wind Waker, support him as being a playable character. I have come up with a possible moveset that is for the most part completely unique. He wouldn't have to be a clone. A description of each move is italicized. So here's his moveset: Standard Special-Deku Leaf would work like Mario's F.L.U.D.D. except it would be a gust of windUp Special-Ballad of the Gales would work like Zelda's Farore's Wind and link would be inside a tornado-like objectSide Special-Skull Hammer he would bash opponents with the hammerDown Special-Magic Shield would reflect projectilesFinal Smash-Wind's Requiem Link equip his iron boots, take out his wind waker and play the Wind's Requiem and a huge gust of wind would blow characters right off the stage.Here's the magic shield i'm talking about:  and for those of you who have played wind waker, you know what link looks like while using this item And his Tether Recovery (Grab) would be his grappling hook. |

Bit too much of a clone for me. And I understand they're being cut down on.
Also, not sure how different he would be from Link in terms of gameplay.

It could work. The grappling hook is definitely his grab. Uhm...still got nothing for the standard special. The deku leaf could be the Up B though.

I pondered that too but then I realized that when you use the deku leaf you don't go up you go down. So like in the game you can't go from a lower platform to a higher platform unless you go in a tornado which is what made me think of the up B I have currently. |

Maybe he could like wave his windwaker then use the deku leaf. I don't know. HAHA. Yeah, ballad of gales seems much more appropriate. |

Wind Waker had a lot of unique items (Deku Leaf for example) so it would be great to see a cel shaded Link in Brawl.

Well he never uses the Wind Waker to make people fall asleep and I think it would incorporate better into his Final Smash. YAY 400 posts! |
