Since this debate is taking up like 4 threads now, I decided to make a definitive poll to put this matter to rest (or at least contain it to one thread).

I've been studying the timeline and Kevin is right. Ganondorf is the only reincarnation of Demise. So, it is true Demise will never be anywhere in future games because he chose to forever reincarnate as Ganondorf. The proof is in FSA, the only game where instead of being revived (OoX, LoZ), freed (LttP) or escaped (TP, TWW), was reincarnated.
Vaati can't be Demise reincarnated because he coexisted with Ganondorf up until FSA. Malladus can't be because he's of New Hyrule. The others are of alternate realities. I apologize for the hullabaloo.
However, if Smash comes out before a game of Ganondorf or Vaati comes out, Demise would replace Ganondorf in the roster, as he is the SS version of him. It's not much of a vs anymore.
