We probably shouldn't tell them that he also kills turtles and various other animals.

Hell, he even fireballs some to death.

And turtle dragons are the worst, they have spikes and everything. I'm wondering why PETA didn't even start sooner.

this isn't just peta . it is the socio-policitcal golden rule :
"i want to decide who lives and who dies ."

beware of those who fight for the rights of others , for they obtain these rights by stealing them from you .

there are no true laws aside from the laws of nature .
there are no true rights aside from those that one can defend for himself .

Apparently they're also pressuring the mayor of Turkey, Texas, to change the city's name to "Tofurky" for this upcoming Thanksgiving, and offering to provide vegan meals for the town if they do.

I dunno. A free community dinner for 500 people. All for changing the name for one day. Judging from the Wikipedia page,

"About 28.4% of families and 32.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 42.5% of those under age 18 and 22.4% of those age 65 or over."

I'd roll with it, barring if they have any kind of emotional connection to the name.There are thousands of small towns across America that could use a free meal; and all they need to do is change their name to Venison or Horseradish or something.

@Bryan: That's a good point actually.

This makes me wonder if they simply do provide vegan meals for communities with no strings attached. I have no idea if they do, but that might help their image infinitely.

PETA's nothing more than a good source of facepalms and laughter for the vast majority of folks. Bring up the topic of PETA in any conversation and you'll be likely met with eye rolls, lol.

I thought you were joking til I read the link....

[epic quadruple facepalm picture]

Lol, I know right?
That picture was awesome btw. xD
