i know, this is too early and can be a hoax considering the team behind the new smash bros. game are solely focused on making kid icarus, but still, this could be a working title and does beg the question on what they are planning with this, i call them taking the series in space and then for the wii u one, include a rideable Yoshi.

Well, it's most likely an idea proposal. While Kid Icarus Uprising isn't in the wraps yet, members of the staff should be in the process of idea farming on how to change SSB for the WiiU/3DS, but not necessarily have a name yet. Even Sakurai said in a recent interview that unless Kid Icarus production stops, SSB production would not start.

I found some dudes who translated it. Judging from what you'll read below, it really is an idea proposal.

Hmm...not really good on that but if MegaMan is in, then why not?

yeah, i do know that's nothing official, hence the satirical outlook, however what i rather neglectfully forgot to mention is that one of the sources from which this image came from is 4chan, a rather unruly and disturbing place. So forgive me for that misunderstanding, yet this does seem to be generating a lot of buzz, i thought i could spend time with you guys trolling this article with equally fanboyish and ridiculous suggestions, truth is that it is Sakurai and his team that will be working on it, and the anouncement made was to bring in new development, and knowing Sakurai, this will be a game that will take several years to make

If they did this with Samus...my gosh, I would love it SO much! One thing I loved about Samus so much in SSB and Melee was her undeniable speed. And given her accelerated performance in Other M, this would be a more than welcomed change from her slow and heavy gameplay. I love hard-hitting speedy characters.

I think it'd be pretty awesome if the Wii-U version comes with a feature that allows up to an 8-player brawl. Then again, that would cause horrendous lag online o_o

Another thing I think is greatly needed is better stage creation tools. I hated how limited it was

Fast, strong, and heavy, a balanced character does not make. Example of this offender: Albert Wesker in Marvel vs Capcom 3. He's all of that and he's a top-tier character. From play experience, I can assure you he's one of those characters you wished they had never make so good (and in his case, instead of being "heavy", he has a lot of health).
