They pulled a Street Fighter on this one. What do you guys think? Cool? No-cool? Awesome? Horrible? Sucky? Cheap-skates? What they should've done from the start? Personally, I don't know what to think, but I'm not making the same mistake again and risk all of my money just for a game that I've played and bored up already. Me and my friends (including Juan), are all just pitching in for one copy, since we know exactly how non-serious this game really is in the fighting game scene. |

As long as they put in more content (basically, at least as much as the game should have already had), then it should be fine. Though it is kind of a smack to the face for those who already bought it.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and they need Mega Man! Amaterasu was the "must-need" character for the last game, and now that honor belongs to the blue bomber.

Lol, the official reason Mega Man (and X) hasn't been included is because he just didn't have the right moves and abilities, but lo and behold, Phoenix Wright made it into the game. That is awesome about Phoenix and Vergil though. Woo! Who knows? Maybe Mega Man X and another Marvel character will get the same DLC treatment as Jill and Shuma. I just hope he's put in because right now, the new select screen is bugging him. There's no room for him adjacent to Zero or Tron  |

I cannot believe they did it again... they ripped off everyone who bought the game AGAIN!!! First the whole Jill as DLC crap and now this. Adding all the awesome characters in this version so they can make a quick buck! They better add more stuff to it than just the characters and they better not DARE charge us a full priced game. The worst part is im gonna end up getting it anyway.
Why does Capcom do this to their fans? I can't imagine how fed up the people that buy all the street fighters must feel...
Capcom has lost the respect I had for them. They have proven to be the most moneygrabbin, disrespectful and despicable company there is and if it weren't for this and the resident evil games that are coming out I would never buy another capcom game.

Apparently its gonna be $39.99. Even though I won't like it, ill most likely end up spending the extra 40 bucks for what the game should've been in the first place. Im kind of annoyed that the gane has only been out a few months and they've already announce a new version comin out in Nov.
But 50 characters+some new modes and hopefully more extras will probably make me happier. Ghostrider and Strider look pretty cool from gameplay i've seen so far. Hawkeye and Firebrand aren't looking too bad either.

Though this is obviously Capcom's marketing technique being put into use, I find it silly that they announce this vs game when they already have ANOTHER in the works, and quite possibly is coming out soon as well. They just keep trying to pile all of these games on us, but definitely don't deliver on the promises they've made for MvC3; though I care little about the game now, they really didn't keep their word for it on DLC.
Still, another successful cash-in most likely, considering exactly how many people bought the original, and of course, the large crowd of people who didn't buy it. Expect klanky online again though >_> Never trust Capcom with online gaming with fighting games.

Yup. And guys, I know how you all feel, but this is not as bad as it seems. Think about it. Most fighters make new games with the inclusion of only 1 or 2 characters at times. We're lucky we got 12 all of a sudden =/ (a tiny bit late on the news, Brandon xD). The only reason we're mad is because the game might have come out too soon. My advise is, buy it if you still want it, and if you can, or, just pretend it won't be released until next year. Besides, for a "sequel", it's $20 cheaper than what a REAL one would be. Take that into account. Personally, I am STOKED that Vergil is in. Have a look at the white-haired fellow with the hair-gel on my banner. He's the one wearing the blue jacket. Him along with other reveals got me excited enough to buy the game. I've been wanting like 5 of those new characters in the game and now I have my wish. You went to Comic-Con!?! How awesome! Did you check out any other games? And Juan, the reason I'm pissed is I bought the original (bought the Collector's Edition btw), and those lucky people who didn't buy the original can get what the game should've been in the first place for CHEAPER. Basically, MvC3 was a beta test you had to buy for $60. -.- |
