POST ANYTHING/EVERYTHING ABOUT SSB4 YOU CAN IMAGINE FOR THE GAME AND POST IT HERE JUST LIKE WE USED TO DO. I FEEL LIKE ITS 2007 AGAIN.
Calling it now: Zoroark is going to replace Lucario as a playable character.
Pokeball Pokemon
Vanilluxe: Hail
Vanilluxe comes out, flys up and summons a large mass of tiny hail pellets in a medium area of the stage. Touching the hail hurts your foe a bit and knocks him back. Sorta like the new version of Onix from SSB.
Crustle: Stealth Rock
Crustle appears, and using stealth rock, sets up a few pointy rocks hovering in the sky for 30 seconds. When your foe touches these spikes, he takes damage and is knocked back.
POST ANY OF YOUR IDEAS AND ILL ADD THEM TO THE ORIGINAL POST :DD

I got some bad news, guys. I'm not sure if anyone posted it yet, but here's an article that mentions the possible 5-year-delay for SSB for the WiiU and the 3DS: http://www.zeldainformer.com/2011/06/tons-of-new-super-smash-bros-information-for-both-wii-u-and-3ds.htmlOn the good side, however, if Sakurai finds a big enough team, he can get the title done faster, since the last team was very short of members (hence the time it took to make Brawl). OK, and now for the predictions: First off, Sarah, I don't think Zoroark will replace Lucario, let-alone even be playable. He's got the illusion ability, sure, but how the hell are they going to incorporate that? Implementing that would be like applying Zoroark's moveset to every character model in the game. Frankly, that's a huge waste of memory. Instead, here is MY prediction of a 5th-gen representative: Victini: Why Victini, exactly? Because while he does seem to be the 5th-gen's legendary mascot, he's less of that and more of the poster-boy for it, or the second-in-command. The real mascot hasn't made herself (itself, technically) present, but by no means is Victini THE mascot. If he were, he just wouldn't be playable. But in all seriousness, the reason why I THINK he COULD be playable is because he's actually very popular, moreso than Zoroark (at least I think he is). Plus, Victini is adowable <3 In all honesty seeing as how Sakurai really wants to get to work with this game, I don't see characters being replaced anymore, and now I see characters returning. If I could say 10 characters (max) from each series, I'd be happy. Wishful-thinking (including veterans): Poke'mon Trainer (Red), Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Lucario, Victini, Blaziken, Gardevoir, Deoxys, and...lawl, I feel so sorry for 2nd gen xP Anyway, aside from that, here's a little something I posted a while ago : What's this all about? It's a topic, but more than just any topic we've done. This topic will talk about what we would WANT for the next SSB, if there ever is one. In here, we can discuss stage ideas, stage songs, characters, veterans, newcomers, assist trophies, poke'ball poke'mon, series representations, and a possible story-line. This topic is for us to pretend that there really is a super smash bros. coming out soon.
If this idea gains enough popularity, maybe it can evolve into its own childboard, having its very own, organized topics for stages, themes, characters, items, etc.
For SSB4, I already have 2 stage ideas and some stage themes from the hit Poke'mon game, Black version (and White). I have fallen in love with my Poke'mon Black version. It is probably the best handheld game I have ever played (and still playing). From my experience in the game, I have come to the idea that these two stages can very well be in the next SSB4:
Castelia City:

Series: Poke'mon Stage-type: Moving platform New or Returning?: New Replaces?: Delfino Plaza Short description (from Bulbapedia): "Castelia City (Japanese: ヒウンシティ Hiun City) is a large seaside city located in south central Unova. Unlike other cities, Castelia is a huge, sprawling metropolis, sporting many towering skyscrapers and other tall buildings. It is the heart of business and economy of the Unova region, as opposed to its sister city, Nimbasa City which is the heart leisure. Most of its city streets are crowded with different people rushing around, trying to get to work, home, or other places, creating a hustle and bustle scene for city life. The city exists on the bottom of Unova's central peninsula, south of the desert and north of the sea, making for a perfect harbor city." Stage songs: -Castelia City theme -Sky Arrow Bridge -Nimbasa City -Mistralton City -Opelucid City (Black version) -Opelucid City (White version) -Black City -Some remix of Wild Pokemon & Rare Pokemon since they're essentially the same. -Trainer Battle -Rival Battle -Route 10
Poke'mon League/Team Plasma/N's Castle:
(Exterior)
(Interior) *Spoilers**Spoilers*
Series: Poke'mon Stage-type: Descending/Ascending New or Returning?: New Replaces?: Castle Siege Possible floors: First floor: the final battle against N; Second floor: N's room; Third floor: Hallway; Fourth floor: Poke'mon League statue. Short description (from Bulbapedia): "N's Castle (Japanese: Nの城 N's Castle) is the location where ReshiramB or ZekromW can be caught. It is Team Plasma's main building, and is owned by N.
After defeating the Elite Four, this castle rises from the ground and attaches itself to the Pokémon League building. According to a Team Plasma Grunt, the castle was being secretly built for several years by overworking Pokémon that were taken away from other Trainers. As the player enters the first floor, the player is stopped by six of the Seven Sages, who attempt to stop him or her. However, the Gym Leaders of Unova (with the exception of Cilan, Chili, and Cress due to the events in the castle being over when Bianca reached them) intercept the surprise attack, allowing the player to continue. On the second floor, a member of the Shadow Triad directs the player to a room where two women await him or her, introducing themselves as Concordia and Anthea. Anthea heals the player's party and Concordia tells the player about N's childhood. A room on the third floor contains a PC that will allow the player to rearrange the party as well. In the same room, scientists mention that now, they could infiltrate the Pokémon Storage System to even release the Pokémon from Trainers' PC Boxes. Team Plasma Grunts are scattered about the other rooms; however, they will not fight, celebrating victory, or thinking of saying goodbye to their Pokémon. One of these Grunts will allow the player to return to the Pokémon League. N's room from his childhood is on the fourth floor. Right before the final battle with N, the legendary mascot of either Pokémon Black or Pokémon White emerges. The respective legendary Pokémon can now be caught, and if there is space in the party, the legendary Pokémon will be used in the battle against N, where it is also first in the party. Otherwise, it is possible to swap the legendary Pokémon from the PC to the party. During the battle with N, he will use the legendary Pokémon opposite of the game's mascot. After defeating N, the player must battle Ghetsis, who reveals that he was manipulating N and Team Plasma in order to achieve his own goals." Stage songs: -Final N Battle -Ghetsis Battle -Team Plasma Battle -Legendary Battle (Reshiram/Zekrom) -Legendary Battle -Elite 4 Battle (One of my personal favorite vgm songs) -Champion Battle -Cynthia Battle -Celestial Tower
Tell me what you guys think. Should we give this a go?

Ganondorf for SSB4? Hell yes! o/ I say every LoZ playable character should sport their Ocarina of Time look, and as alternates, Skyward Sword outfits. Hopefully, that keeps the OoT fans happy, and the new-gen/loyal fans something to look forward to in terms of the alternate option. One exception though should be Midna. I want Midna to be playable in this, and use her against Twilight Princess haters. Yeeeaaaah

From what I've read, Nintendo is vocally open to Capcom characters being included, which means there's a greater likelihood of the iconic Mega Man getting in - Capcom just needs to jump on it and request to be a part of it this time. The last time neither of the companies approached each other. So that's one of my predictions, seeing as there's more valid hope this time around: Mega Man becoming a part of the roster. That...that is madness. At least we know we're getting it... Although by the time it comes out there will probably be a new system out, haha.

I'm tired of Ganondorf, bring in Ghirahim, Agnahim and Zant instead. Just joking Ryan. I do want more Zelda baddies in it, as well as Midna. I disagree with having OoT looks. Why? Because SSB and SSBM already sported them. If anything, they should be sporting their Zelda HD counterparts. I want my Link, Zelda and Ganondorf in glorious realism this time around. Although, I won't mind seeing their Skyward Sword counterparts as alternate outfits. And Juan, too much Pokémon. I do think Zoroark can replace Lucario. It's all a matter of Clefairy/Togepi programming. Lastly, with regards to Capcom, I'm thinking they really might do MegaMan.

All I can say is I really hope they keep Sheik in there. They'll probably be using Skyward Sword versions of Zelda characters just like Brawl used Twilight Princess ones, so I hope they at least use a Skyward Sword-style Sheik as well.

A Skyward Sword-style Sheik would be interesting. Then again, who's to say that Sheik isn't in Skyward Sword...you do have her harp in there...

I say...make the game a bit faster, but obviously NOT the same thing Melee was; I really do despise that game for whatever reasons. And another, Sakurai should try and cater to a different audience now of more competitive and party players. Subspace really was....mehhhhh, so if anything, if they put in the usual single player modes, they should keep it as simplistic as it was back in Melee. The whole mind game aspect of it really added depth to the game, and the fact that you can dodge almost anything at anytime is really really great. If anything, I think they should add a sort of parry system to it to make blocking/dodging more lethal. (I'm not saying Third Strike parrying, but you know, something to counter your opponent when you block them rather than having to take the hit and either A. get knocked back; or B. rely on perfect shielding to NOT get knocked back). Also, I'd just want to see more variety in characters and series within the game overall. I really want Jaffar in this, and an Animal Crossing rep, and it'd be awesome if they got Chandelure as a Pokeball Pokemon doing Overheat and whatnot. I'd say more, but majority of it would just be on characters I want it/characters cut/characters replaced. Still, SUPER FUCKING HYPE FOR SSB4. CEREAL FOR SSB4!

All I can say is: yay. There are lots of characters I want in Brawl, maybe some to be cut (I'm staring at you, Sonic) some to have their movesets changed (I mean really Sakurai, you take out characters and change movesets like Mario's to make Luigi different, but you keep Gannondorf as a clone of Captain Flacon??) new stages, etc.
Pretty pumped even if we DO have to wait for a while... but I doubt it will take 5 years

Bobbeh I agree! BRING ON THE BLUE BOMBER!!! I disagree with having OoT looks. Why? Because SSB and SSBM already sported them. Because "real" LoZ fans only care about OoT and nothing else in the LoZ series, so that's total fanservice for them right there And Juan, too much Pokémon. I do think Zoroark can replace Lucario. It's all a matter of Clefairy/Togepi programming. Lol! I know! It was just wishful thinking xD But replace? Why replace? Might as well say that Mewtwo won't return either, because if Lucario replaced him and Zoroark replaces Lucario, then why should Mewtwo be re-added and Lucario gets left in the dust? Isn't that a little wack? lol CEREAL FOR SSB4! *Like* Pretty pumped even if we DO have to wait for a while... but I doubt it will take 5 years ... <.>

Because "real" LoZ fans only care about OoT and nothing else in the LoZ series, so that's total fanservice for them right there Nope. A real fan would like any Zelda in any shape and size. People who don't care for the other titles aren't real fans, they're just purists who think Zelda is Ocarina. Real Zelda fans acknowledge the awesomeness that is Wind Waker. It was a step-up to the Zelda adventure. And I feel that with all the pressure Miyamoto put on the team for Skyward Sword (he fucking threatened to stop the series if the game wasn't the best Zelda game ever). Also, they pulled out all the stops and literally pulled great pieces from each game like high NPC interaction. For more, read my post on the Skyward Sword thread. Going back, making it Ocarina Link once again is only fanservice to those fake fans that don't appreciate the beauty of games such as Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. I'm strongly akin to the idea though that Skyward Link would be the best incarnation.

I think Skyward Link should be the "main" Link, then have the Link from the Zelda HD tech demo to be an alternate costume. But then again, I really hate Zelda from SS, so maybe not >.>
