I have a couple suggestions for the Updates board:

1) Rename it "Gaming Discussion." I think it's more of a Gaming Discussion board now, so the name Updates doesn't really make sense anymore, especially since SSBB doesn't even have updates anymore.

2) Make a child board in Gaming Discussion called "Smash Bros. Updates." There still has to be a place for these updates. Tongue

3) Make someone temporary mod for General Discussion and Member's Only so they can move all the threads about gaming into the new Gaming Discussion board. Of course, as soon as their done their status would need to be revoked. Tongue

Such modifications are beyond our abilities. They'd need to be done by Rocky.

i'm here . the entire server went down for a week because of a failed hard drive which i was only able to restore yesterday . i'm on here from time to time when i'm looking for a battle , but it's discouraging when i don't see anyone on . maybe there will be a new smash bros game soon and we can get this site moving again .

the entire website is gaming discussion , so making a forum for that specific topic doesn't make any sense .

i don't see any benefit to making the updates forum a child forum when it isn't a proper subcategory of any other existing forum .

Luckily, there is a smash bros. game to come out sometime, but it's only under consideration AKA "not in development". Both good and bad news. We'll know in time when Nintendo confirms its production, and then, we can rejoice!

While I understand your point, it makes things quite unorganized. Some topics are in Gen Discussion, some in Members Only, some in Updates, etc. It would be better if there was one centralized place for these topics.

Yeah, I guess that didn't make any sense Tongue. Now that a new Smash Bros. is coming up, Updates are useful again, so just disregard that lol. But I still think we need a Gaming Discussion board!
