Rated 18 for most countries, and banned in Australia Mortal Kombat 9 will be one of the most violent and intense MK game to date.
It's going back to some old characters and trying to get back to it's roots as a 2D combo-based fighter, and the results look amazing. If you were a fan of MK 3 you must get this game. Sektor and Cyrax (my all-time favourite MK characters will be making a return along with Baraka, Ermac, Jade, Jax, Johnny Cage, Kabal, Kano, Kitana, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Mileena, Nightwolf, Noob Saibot(amazingness incarnate), Quan Chi, Raiden, Reptile, Scorpion(awesome), Shang Tsung, Sindel,Sonya, Stryker and Sub-Zero(cool). Kratos will br bringing his chains from God of War on the PS3 version.
The upgraded graphics isn't the only new addition. The team has decided to include new fatalities, xray moves (which do rediculous damage), and a tag mode where you control a fighter and can switch at anytime with your other killer. I'm looking foward to Sektor and Cyrax 'ing or Sub-Zero and Scorpion 'ing it up April 19, 2011. It releases 2 days later for our European brotheren.
