5 More PCs...

...to be revealed in the DOJO before Japan Release. Now I placed it here in the characters section and not the general discussion section because I am aware that all of this is speculation. These are things I got from here and there (I do keep other accounts other than Smash Power to do some reading.) and I found something interesting. It's a post by this guy named Aryman at SWF that states that we have received confirmation that Famitsu will be releasing a guide to SSBB by February 1. The magazine is to feature 200 pages of content. Now this guy is a reliable source as he is actually one of the first few to get scans from Famitsu. (Aryman is the guy where Brawl Central got its info. And they don't even credit him for the pictures! And they claim to be the first source. I don't trust them anymore.) Anyways, back to topic. Some of the content is confirmed by his sources while others are speculation. So you guys need not read the whole thing, here's a summary of the pages:

1: Cover
2-17: Info about Subspace Emissary, Items, Stages, Modes, etc.

After that, it's all characters. All characters except Pokémon Trainer gets 6 pages (confirmed). This includes:
2 pages of special moves (confirmed), 2 pages of character history (confirmed) and 2 pages of other attacks (speculation)

So let's run it down (I'm not so sure if the order is correct but according to him, this is confirmed. If you could see, the arrangement follows the revealing chronology):

Now looking at that, we could speculate two things. The question marks are the 5 hidden characters. But there is an off-chance that these are just items, stages and SE info again. We're not clearly that sure. However, I think those are the hidden characters. (Hidden here is ambiguous, I'm not so sure what it means.) Anyways, Sakurai himself was the one who guided Famitsu in releasing this. He, as I think many should know, plans these updates ahead of time...like a month or so. So I'm expecting whatever is in those ? marks will be revealed this month as it'll be too late once it releases in Feb. 1.

And to add more juices to the speculation. Coro Coro themselves were planning to reveal 30 PCs during December. Now however, this was retracted, they did know that there would be 30 PCs to be known by the public sometime before the release. Now, let us wonder what those 5 ?s are. If Patrick is right, 194-199 will be Ganondorf. But I'm being skeptic about that part. Any thoughts?

Hmm...are you saying that there will be only 5 hidden characters or just 5 more revealed before the Japanese release?  I doubt it's only 5 more characters.  I read somewhere that this is a character booklet that will be released as a gift to Famitsu subscribers and not a true players guide.

Yes I realize you said so but your statement that it was the players guide made it seem as though the game would have only 5 hidden characters.  If it's a character booklet then I agree that we could get 5 more characters before the release of the game in Japan, which would pretty much rock.

i dont see that happening because there is only 12 days until feb 1, and i dont think he is gonna release 5 characters in 12 days, un less he is just awesome

Hmmm, this is rather intersting. I know for sure they aren't all the secret characters (that would be completely ridiculous), but I didn't foresee the playable roster getting much bigger before the release. I didn't think we were going to even get Olimar before release, personally, but low and behold, I was wrong. So who knows? Its very unlikely they'll reveal all of these characters in such a short amount of time, but the Dojo has been getting down to business lately, there haven't been any crappy updates for awhile. I could see, possibly, maybe one more character, and then them revealing the first four unlockables (probably Jiggly, Luigi, Capt. Falcon, and a newcomer). That would be my guess if I had to make one.

I find it hard to think that they would have too much more incentive to release some more character much less 5 of them before the 31st of January. At this point i can't imagine how big the starting roster can get and we know that Sonic and Snake are unlockables and for some reason i think Olimar will be one as well. Anymore releases at this point would be just to keep us happy and those characters too will most likely be unlockable as well.
