It was stated on the Dojo that during Adventure Mode, you collect coins as you go. It was also stated that the use of the coins would be discovered later, but they wouldn't be used to purchase anything.. hmmm...
Well you win them in Adventure Mode.. and you gamble for more during Online Matches.. so.. why would you need so many? What do you guys think?

Same old trophy lottery stuff, I hope there will be 1,000 trophies to collect. Not only that, I'm sure there is another purpose for the coins that we haven't discovered just yet.. Why coins, since Sonic's in the game, why don't we get rings too?  |

Well we all know that we get to bet on online matches now, which i stilll cant get over the brilliance of that idea lol. Though what if there were rewards for the "better" gamblers? It would be fun if you earned a certain amount from winning bets and unlocked areas. Maybe unlock the Sonic casino stage if you make 3000 in winnings (feels like a fitting reward). Hell maybe if you collect 5000 in winnings and you go back to the main menu you get..."Challenger Appraoching!" "Mr. Game and Watch" or whoever else we can think of heh. I doubt this would be implemented but maybe, just maybe.

LOL amen to that. where does my life go.. on topic: coins should be used for unlocking things. if you have over XXXX coins you get a new costume/stage/character/AT/ but once you have that are coins useless? or are they shown online as some sort of badge for your skill? or are they like used for continues in the SSE ?? that would be cool. that would mean you need skill or alot of coins to beat it on ultimate or watever then you unlock the hardest character to get in the game: me! haha. "congratulations! bullsh*t artist ajax098 is now at you disposal" anyway yeah iv been thinking about casino night being a cool sonic stage, fallen401. just real good to look at ay. love them lights. |
