I never really liked Rayman - He certainly never convinced me to buy a single one of his games.

Is he French or something?

Bit harsh, Raving Rabbids 1 is probably one of the better 3rd party games on the Wii... even if it is minigames, it's better than Mario Party 37.

Well, Ubisoft is/was French but Rayman's not... is Mario Italian, Italian-American, or Japanese?

Rayman's got a big repetoire of moves from all his games, and a billion costumes, so I figure he's a good choice for Brawl.

Rayman would work well in Brawl. I'm not too keen on him as a character, and there are better choices, but gameplay-wise he could be great.

I agree, Rayman's a good character but I never played a lot of his games.  My usual response to Ubi Soft announcing a game is:  uh oh...this could be either really great or a pile of s#!t.
