So I like Nuzlocke runs. So you lucky people get to watch my Pokemon get slaughtered. Lucky indeed.

For anyone who doesn't know, the basic rules of a Nuzlocke run are to only catch the first Pokemon in each area, and once a Pokemon faints, it's dead and must be released.
I'm going to use a few different rules though.

Firstly, I'm running through Emerald. I'll either stop when I've beaten the E4 or Stephen, depending on how I feel. Or if I get bored or no one cares, I'll stop earlier.
DA RULES:
1. If a Pokemon faints, release it.
2. Nickname all Pokemon.
3. This is the good bit. I've enabled a Gameshark code that lets me catch other trainers' Pokemon. I must catch the last Pokemon belonging to the first trainer in each area. Gyms are seperate areas to towns. It's the last Pokemon because the battle ends after a catch, and I don't want to be too cheap.
4. No catching from double battles. The code doesn't like them.

I think that's all of it. This'll be image heavy, by the way.

I'm kind of in the mood to do one of these myself. But I've run through all the game regions so many times by now >.>

Do a ROM hack. Not that I've ever done one, but it'd be new.
And I've never fully played through Emerald, so this is ok for me.

And so it begins...
(I'll be skipping lots of story from this, btw. There's only so many times you can see the same game played.)

And straight to the important stuff. Not that I'll need it.

And I will never look at an in game clock or plant a berry again.

Wild DAD fled!

>Strange boy enters house.
>Direct said boy to daughter's room
>?? ??
>Profit!

SHE HAS A FREAKIN' ORANGE GAMECUBE. DO WANT!
Also shiny new Pokeball. If I just...

Shit! Rumbled.

Blah Blah Blah Plot.

That doesn't look like helping your dad catch Pokemon.
I mean, seriously, come up with a convincing excuse, please.

Hmm, I wonder who that could be.

Don't mind if I do.

I SHALL TAKE IT ALL THE WAY TO THE E4.

BWAH HA HA! FALL VICTIM TO MY NEFARIOUS DEEDS!

Hi, you're Birch.

Well I never saw that one coming. Well done GameFreak, your plot twists are getting better and better.

Time to take on May. Exciting stuff.

You walked through 1 patch of grass to get here.
I... have no comment.

!

Most thrilling battle ever. EVER.

Freebies! I love 'em. I think we all know what's coming up now...

RUNNAN' RUNNAN' RUNNAN'

Ahem. Back to the game. First catch is obligatory. Woohoo.

Meet bro number 2.

I HAS A SUCCESS.

WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN LIKE THE CONDUIT THAT MUCH.

ACTION SCENE!

Yeah, nothing happened on that route. Sorry.

AND SO I SHALL.

Yeah, it gets interesting beyond this point, what with actually having a choice of trainers and poison sting.
I promise.

Right new route, new catch. Let's see what I end up with.

Except that the other side of Petalburg woods is a new route. Probably with better pokemon.

NINJA'D STRAIGHT PAST HER!

 Tongue

So it's this guy or another Poochyena from Team Aqua. I vote this guy.

Right. There's 4 of them. This bodes well.

Ember is a wonderful thing.

This, admittedly, was after I forgot to put in the code and "The trainer blocked the ball!"

I... erm... have never had this happen before. One sec...

BECAUSE IT WILL PROBABLY DIE SOON!

Does that girl actually say that or is that because of the gameshark code? Interesting how you turned Emerald into Colloseum. It's fun catching other trainer's pkmn.

Time for Dexter to prove his worth. Prepare yourselves for an epic battle.

Truly, he is in the top percentage of Silcoon.

And it's time for a 4th teammate.

I skipped the Rich Boy because iirc he has a Zigzagoon.

One down...

Breloom is cool, and I don't think I've ever actually used one.

Sweet. ROXANNE'S GOING DOWN.

I don't even need to make up excuses for names anymore.

I always knew he was beautiful inside.
Also Absorb. Even more Roxanne rape.

BRING IT!
