Yeah same here. But I actually started out using Falco. He throws kicks faster than Fox does, but Fox's moves work so much better. Its like:

I wouldn't know anything about Falco, but Fox used to be one of my four favorite characters before I got used to Picachu and Mario.

Falco's moves were cheap. There, I said it.
Falco's blaster was nearly as fast as Fox's and had push back, which meant that in Final Destination (Which everybody friggin plays all the time) he can do massive chipping damage to any short range combatant before they get up to him.
And his meteor smash has next to no prep time (unlike others like Ness, Falcon, and DK), triggered at all locations and times of the move (unlike others like Mario and Samus) and worst of all - unlike every other smash in the game) it launched you down and slightly over, so he could metoer kill you while you were over land!
I know that this will probably upset some people, but IMHO he's just a cheap version of Fox.

Now Rayquaza here just looked grand! He really is cool! But too bad Fox's moves aren't that power-upped because he really had a cool factor to him in that video.

It turns out that most characters look better in the cinematic trailers. I just loved seeing Zelda smile...it was melting my heart. She's so cute!

Oh I do, for example in Oot, she opens the gates for you in the next to the last level, and by teaching Link those helpful songs (it was a PAIN to find the forbidden forest place two different times).
In SM64, all Peach does is send Mario a letter about her making a cake. Big difference.
And I believe that Zelda also helps in TP by throwing/shooting arrows at Ganondorf.
