True story: The shield bash blocks everything, as long as you time it right. :-P

Because bandannas and shades are cool.

Well yes, but it's just a bit difficult to get the timing right.  And when I do it's just too easy.  I just dodge Tongue.

You might just want to reconsider shield bashing while it's still early. It opens up really hard to open defenses of the final bosses. Just don't practice it with a Fortified/Braced Shield, go for the purple shields (Sacred, Divine and Goddess shields) or Hylian.

I'm too careless... I feel so bad being killed by a Skulltula in Hero Mode... On the upside, I killed a Stalfos with 2 hearts left and Ghirahim with 1 heart left. Smiley

I need a Heart Medal ASAP.

maybe, but I don't have any of those shields yet Sad.  (Haven't been playing as much as I did at first due to school and such)

Uhm, if you're past the three dungeons and you've gotten the Harp, you could already buy them. Anyway, I've been using the best form of the wooden and iron shields for Hero Mode. It did make the playthrough easier when I started shieldbashing. I also have the Heart Medal already so I'm a bit more at ease than without it. Since I'm relying on the shield more, I had to get a revitalizing potion.

Almost done (I think) just got the heat earrings...

So far its a brilliant game, best ive played in awhile. A few unanswered questions though that I hope to find out, like:

Why is Link getting all 3 pieces of the triforce whens hes only supposed to get the courage one?
Does Ganondorf even show up in this game? If not, how does he get the power triforce piece?
Is the land below hyrule? If yes then how does Nayaru go from desert to lake, and wheres The Geurdo area?
Theres Gorons... But where are the Dekus and Zoras?

Also did you guys know that the red eagle thing on the Hylian shield in Ocarina and every game after is the Crimson Loftwing? I think thats really cool how they implemted that so long ago before they even created loftwings.

But it just doesnt feel right with this pussy tranvestite as the main villian and not a single sighting of the Geurdo Demon King.

Plox dont spoil I wanna find out on my own Smiley

Also I almost got that demon Beutreax turned into a human...

Well, I did get the shield recently.  The problem was I haven't gone to the store for a while.  And now I'm afraid it'll break when I use it Tongue.

Then buy another one. The wooden and iron shields are pretty cheap anyway.

Finally started this game. Have to say it's definitely one of my faves so far! The wii motion plus is so much fun and definitely presents an new challenge to the game.

I know calling your skyloft bird really isn't anything special, but I love just running off a ledge and calling him, it definitely makes the game feel more real.

Also, I probably just suck with the wii motion plus, but damn this game can really get me sometimes! The first boss fight I died probably 5 times before I barely beat him.

I'm addicted. Well done Nintendo.

Just beat it 46 hours. What a game. ending made me shed a tear or 2 thinking about my childhood and how much this series has evolved, much like my life.

2 complaints: Hated the motion control. I sprained my wrist in basketball half way through the game and it only made aiming and playing painful... I miss simple button pressing.

No Ganondorf. Really. Its like Super Mario Galaxy 3 without a Bowser or Super Smash Bros 4 without Master Hand. Mad me mad.

Other than that, 9.7/10
