Capcom has announced a new online title for the Mega Man series – Rock Man Online, an online 3D side scrolling action RPG for PC developed by Neowiz.
The game will keep the same action elements Mega Man fans love, while adding in RPG elements. As with any RPG, your character advances in stats as you continue to play.
X and Zero have been announced as NPCs for the game, but you can expect many more from the Mega Man universe to appear.You can check out the artwork for both of them after the jump.
Currently the game is only announced for Asian regions. But Capcom recently trademarked Mega Man Universe for North America, which sounds like a likely name for the title. Hopefully we will hear an official word on the localization soon. Source |

Here's another link. It's currently only slated to be released in North Korea, with plans for a possible Chinese and Taiwan expansion. Japan has a slight possibility, but nothing is planned for them. I'm not sure if we'll ever see this in the States, but it'd definitely be cool. |

Yeah, I'm a bit wary too. I just hope it doesn't resemble Maple Story very much... Sounds cool but if it has multiplayer online it will be the most awesome mega game ever.

As long as they do better then how they did on that "Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star" crossover I'll be happy. It was so disappointing that it tanked and lost all chance of being released elsewhere. Restore my faith, Capcom! |

I think I just died and went to Heaven: If the game itself is half as epic and awesome, it'll be the best MM game out there. The world design and technology in the teaser was simply stunning. Bass sporting his EXE counterpart's cloak hooked me on this immediately. South Korea should be nuked if they keep it all to themselves. |
