I don't consider any of the information that's been posted on Sakurai's blog, or released via special events like E for All, Jump Festa, or Whobby to be spoilers. If it's good enough for Japan, then it's good enough for the rest of us, I say.
However, I might take a 2 week-long hiatus from the Internet in general beginning January 23rd.
Then, after redeeming my pre-order on Feb 9, I'll take yet another 1 week break.
That should be long enough to play through SE, Classic, and Event mode.
After that, I expect to come back and join in the fray.

I might still try to stay but even if the spoilers are atempted to be confined within "spoiler" threads i don't know. Besides the feeling of inevitable slipage by someone on the site saying things in other threads i fear for my own will power on the site. If i see a thread labled **SPOILERS** i might try justify looking in the thread lol. I just know a situation like this will go down, "Hmmm spoiler thread eh? Well the game hasn't been out all that long maybe it isn't a major spoiler. I'll just check in real quick an- ARRGGHH NOOOOO, I WOULD NEVER HAD THOUGHT HE/SHE WOULD BE IN!!!" *cry*
Might be for the best just to stay away altogether.

The popular consensus seems to be complete isolation. And I can't blame anyone for having that mindset. After all, Temptation is a cruel mistress and humans are such fickle creatures. |

It's not temptation that I'm afraid of. I can stay out of a room that says "Do not enter' well enough. It's the fact that all it takes is one troll to yell "Marina is in Brawl" under some random character, or even a less malificent slip that "Chibo-Robo is perfect for taking out Olimar" in a tactical discussion and it's over. |

Afraid I'm gonna vanish come Brawl time until I've unlocked a good number of characters. If I think I've gotten them all, or I'm sick and tired of trying to figure out how to unlock the last couple of characters, I'll skim through GameFAQs to complete the checklist for good. Then, I intend to return. Until then, I'm going into hibernation...

Good question. Maybe I could program some sort of bot to log in for me and dispense pre-written randomness to them... I'm sure there's a way I could do that... albeit not necessarily one I'm good enough to do. |

I left beacuse of my fear of spoliers. I came back because I relized that I choose what polls to read and people wont talk of them in the chatroom (at least thats what they told me)
