I don't get why Rotom is banned, I mean, in one of his forms maybe, but he's a mediocre pokemon!
and with Tyranitar, he's considered an uber, right?
No Arceus plates? Those are just regular plates that power up moves, and if Arceus is banned, and Judgement us too, why would it matter?
but these Tourney rules are stupid, I mean, I can understand not allowing Arceus and the use of Judgement through Smeargle, but seriously, no legends?
The people who make the "Tourney" rules, are just wimps who don't like losing, so they only allow the weaker legends and the "regular" pokemon that aren't considered Uber (mostly the pokemon that are near the legendaries in the pokedex list, like Dragonite!

) I mean, you should be allowed to use any non-hacked team you want, except with Arceus, I'm with them on Arceus

I mean, I'm not saying I wouldn't whine if they put me up against a lvl 100 Lugia or Mewtwo or whatever, I just think Tourney rules suck! that is all!

i completely agree with you henry, but tyranitar is not on the uber list (check bryan's post ) i think its just because he is a tough pokemon to beat that people like to ban him from battles just like they do with the other legendaries. I dont like the rules they make either and these are exactly like the rules people make in brawl tournaments, (no items, no hanenbow etc.) in other words rules for people who cant play the game properly or want it to be easy to win. If you dont like fighting against them, you should try to find a way to beat them rather then trying to ban them from their own games.
I don't know why Tyranitar is banned. Or sleep inducing moves...
I'm thinking about just using my HG with levels 48-56 rather than Pearl with 80s. That way I won't break any rules. And how does everyone feel about the no retreating rule? My friends and I always battle this way cause if retreating is fair game then we constantly get into never ending swap cycles to get the typwe advantage and the battle doesn't end.
It doesn't matter what level they are Ryan, when you battle online, all pokemon become the same level, either 50 or 100.
As for the no retreating rule, it doesn't have that big of an affect in a double battle as it does in single battles, but it is kind of dumb to leave your pokemon in when you know he is gonna get killed if you dont switch, again if you dont want him to keep doing that, find a way around it (hit him with the move pursuit which does massive damage to the pokemon before it switches out or throw in a pokemon that has an ability that blocks the opponents pokemon from switching ex: Shadow tag, Arena trap, magnet pull etc. Plus the guy that switches loses a chance to attack AND the opponent gets a free hit in before the pokemon that switched gets to do anything so it isnt always a good idea to switch...
That being said, i think we should allow people to be able to switch their pokemon in battle.
I mean like no lv 130 Mudkips or Snorlax using fly
And switching out is good for stalling, curing confusion, ect.
Also, I bet the winner's team will look something like this:
1)Tyranitar
2)Salamence
3)Dragonite
4)Metagross
5)Charizard
6)Mewtwo
Then i recommend we do double battles so the powerhouses dont win
