I was inspired to start to draw, so here is my first attempt to use a pen on paper, i don't have a scanner so i had to take a picture of it.  i messed up the suit and the nose a bit, i couldn't correct it because i was using a pen  Rayquaza (Pencil only)  Rayquaza (colored)  tell me what you guys think

I don't see much evidence of pre-sketching (in pencil) in that pic. Try doing that if you want to get features and form down better.

no pre-sketching, whatever that is, and no pencil either.This was done with a pen in one try. Yeah. Definitely good for your first attempt Noah!  thanks

Yep, really good for a first attempt - especially with a pen!
I agree with Chad that you'll probably find doing it in pencil first to be helpful. That allows you to make any corrections you might need to do, and then you can erase all lead after you go over it with a pen.

Aside from the fact that it looks malnourished, Rayquaza looks menacing! Great job Noah! Love the coloring too.
