Because the relations lean heavily towards the characters that impact them the most throughout they their travels or their social life at home.

Speaking of updated profiles, this reminds me that you said there was two things about mine that needed changing. What exactly were those?

If I recall, it's the fact that there's only ONE human left and that's Karoku, and that a constellation was vital just to make your character all the more important (either that, or obtaining a particular constellation to gain immortality good be a good plot-goal for Imagni).

Oh. So what other relatively powerless species are there? (And also, what about all those other humans in the character list?)

And sure, if you can find a fitting constellation, go ahead and give it to Imagni. I have no idea which ones are left myself...

Also oh god those special moves are powerful. Coming up with a moveset for Imagni is going to be a lot of fun.

Oh. So what other relatively powerless species are there? (And also, what about all those other humans in the character list?)

In a technical sense, there aren't any "powerless" species per se. Brain-power kind of counts as a "power", which is why the knowledge stat is so important.  In Imagni's case, having that sort of brain power gives him limitless possibilities to self-created weaponry.  Tech has never versus magic before, so one can't say light-powered missiles and lasers won't have an effect on ghouls and goblins if you catch my drift.

Although if there were a category I would place Imagni, I would say about the same as this guy:  Dr. Claude

Ehhh, well... Wizards are more so on magic, but this guy in particular favors science.  There are a number of things you can choose, but half-humans are allowed in 2100: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_species_in_folklore_and_mythology

And sure, if you can find a fitting constellation, go ahead and give it to Imagni. I have no idea which ones are left myself...

These are all that's left:

* Volans (The Flying Fish)
* Aquarius (The Water-Bearer)
* Musca (The Fly)
* Taurus (The Bull)
* Puppis (The Poop Deck)
* Cepheus (King of Ethiopia)

Quote from: Zeus
Also oh god those special moves are powerful. Coming up with a moveset for Imagni is going to be a lot of fun.

Take your time on them.  In all honesty, seeing a full-fledged list would be awesome.  Try to keep it balanced too.  Most of the moves, like the one-hit-kills are Guilty Gear / Blazblue inspired so even if a character is really powerful or weak, this is a game so it's obvious there's gotta be a balance for the sake of gameplay itself.  Also, I imagine Imagni entering a stage from a rope-ladder from his castle (as if coming from a helicopter), placing the background with walls (with integrated cannons), and fighting somewhat like this guy:

More or less like him.  You get the idea.  He uses a gun too Cheesy Btw, if you have a 360 or a PS3 or ever get one (or know a friend who owns either and is a fighting-game fan), you should definitely try out Blazblue.  It's really awesome.  I'm sure you'd identify its characters and easily see which 2100 character best represents the Blazblue cast.  I've always compared Ragna to Karoku and vise versa.  I think Carl Clover and Imagni compare a little too (just a little).

Your one-hit-kills with yourself and your tag-partners can be as crazy and chaotic as you want.  That's the beauty of 2100.  It's full of ungodly mayhem.

Although to see what I mean, I imagine Imagni's castle being involved this way:

http://i50.tinypic.com/2wco7lg.jpg
http://i49.tinypic.com/6psx1e.jpg

Both pics are edited with the cannons I drew on Imagni's drawing.  It'll give you an idea of what I mean.  Given the castle can do a number a things, spreading its walls into columns in that formation can make for an interesting move-set, and depending on the position/angle Imagni is facing, the cannon closest to him will fire.  Besides, having control over so many cannons is tedious, so it's obvious the cannons are sort of remote-controlled based on where the player has Imagni positioned.  The cannons that appear big are the closest to the player screen while the farther ones are in the background.

So wizards count as a separate species? Hmm... Then how about this: Imagni is a wizard, but one with very weak magical powers. He has some knowledge of basic elemental magic (like lighting a candle, turning a glass of water into ice, or summoning a light breeze) and levitation (very useful for getting books down from those high shelves in the library; though he can't stay off the ground for more than about one minute before becoming utterly exhausted), but since neither of those would be very useful in a combat situation, he has chosen to use more technological means of battle instead.

That sounds like a good idea.

Perhaps he could have subconsciously diverted his wizardry into a special aptitude for scientific knowledge, thus resulting in his incredible genius.

Yeah. I think Imagni is well suited as a low powered wizard.Of course his brains beat his magic though.

Those things can work well, and I have a solution to his levitation problems when he's browsing in his library.  Perhaps he can arrange "shelves" that he can stand on when he levitates?  That way he doesn't have to waste energy suspended in air trying to look for a book.

Haha, I can so see a "Bullet Hell" based one-hit kill from him Cheesy

Question: Is there any limit to what characters can be used for tag-team moves? I have come up with one involving Tanglaw, but before I start searching for characters for my other ideas, it would be nice to know which ones are available.

Optics "Reflection and Diffraction" (forbidden tag-special) = A big setup of lenses and mirrors is lowered from the fortress around the entire battlefield, with a small prism hovering in the middle. Imagni and Tanglaw stand on opposite sides of it. Imagni readies the Reactor and Tanglaw puts a Lux arrow to his bow; both aiming at the prism. Then they both fire. The prism divides the energy and light into a number of small beams going horizontally in every direction, which are reflected to hit a big lens hanging from the fortress. This causes a huge beam shimmering with all the colours of the rainbow that strikes down and completely engulfs the battlefield, apart from Imagni and Tanglaw who are protected by strategically placed mirrors. When the beam dissipates, there is no sign of the opponent to be seen.

There are a limit of 5.  The one with Tim is mandatory, so stick with that one as well.  Your order of tag-specials are entirely up to you to arrange as you like.

  13 - "WWVI (World War 6)" (forbidden tag-special) = Close-range; Tim's right palm glows a dangerously luminous orange and grabs his opponent's face.  Imagni then appears and lands his castle upon the battlefield, destroying whatever it's in its way in the background.  All of Imagni's defenses and weaponry aim dead at the opponent(s), as Tim prepares for the ultimate destruction.  As the opponent(s) struggle(s) and beg(s) for mercy, Tim chuckles mockingly as he turns Imagni's castle into a fortress of Hell.  Now powered-up to the extreme, Imagni's castle covers the entire screen, nuking the area and destroying a continent the size of Russia.  Remaining unharmed right after the blast, both face each other with feelings of doubt and distrust.  When this move lands, it's an instant match win.  If it misses its first hit, gauge can no longer be used for the remainder of the match.  Right afterwards, Tim and Imagni go their own way without saying good-bye, and leave behind a wasteland with absolutely no life within thousands of miles across the area.

That's one insane-ass tag-special.  I love it Grin !

As for other available ones, read into Karoku / Kohaku's / Tim's relations somewhere.  The characters Monica, Andreea, and Sakami are loosely based on Patchouli/Yukari, Flandre/Alice, and Sakuya/Komachi.  Andreea is a prototype mecha-musume, so she may fit your style well.  Those 3 are the only "Bloodmoon Castle" members I intend to use as "playable" in a future 2100-game, so either one of them I would advise.

But just to throw names out there:

-Clement Stridewolf (refer to Kinme's relationships)
-Charlie "Charles" Johnson
-Alexander Owens
-Tomo "Nakamura" Alucard
-Andreea Vermillion
-Monica Wisdom
-Sakami Chirila

Zeus, that's one wicked tag-move you've thought of. It's sort of like a rainbow doomsday nuke. It's interesting how it's very physics-oriented especially because when I created Tanglaw, I wanted his light to pretty much follow the realms of physics.

The two characters could have this as their victory speech: "And you thought rainbows were all sunshine and daisies."

Heck.  Daisies are considered the flowers of death, hence the saying "pushing daisies".  That would fit perfectly under the theme of the move Wink

Plus, a rainbow is part of the spectrum in radioactive energy, so it might look pretty, but it's very dangerous and life-threatening if you think about it Wink
