CoroCoro Reveals News For Zelda Fans

I want to start the thread by saying that I wanted to officially make a thread for both Zelda's Final Smash and Zelda's Down Special.

I have long awaited a Zelda update and finally, I get one in the form of a CoroCoro reveal. CoroCoro as many people was the one that was supposed to release the roster on the 15th of December but didn't. However, they did say they'd reveal something come January. And they finally did. Here is the gist of the things they've revealed for Zelda:

1. Zelda's Special Moves consist of Eldin's Fire, Lanayru's Love, Faron's Wind and Twilight Change

Twilight Change? Not Transform? Fear not Sheik fans...here's the direct translation in from CoroCoro:

Twilight Change (Original Twilight version of Sheik transformation)

So it turns out, they did plan Sheik for Twilight Princess. And, they planned Zelda's Twilight Form (like wolf link, imp midna) to be a new form of Sheik. So the no Sheik in Twilight Princess argument is now debunked. The clues that led to Sheik being in is true. So we're all happy.

2. We now have Zelda's Final Smash...her famous Light Arrows that she has now used TWICE against Ganondorf in the boss battle. First in WindWaker and 2nd in Twilight Princess. Here's the picture of Zelda's FS:



Coro Coro is a magazine that is NEVER wrong when they reveal something that would be in any game as far as history goes. So there you have it Sheik and Light Arrows both confirmed.

However a couple things I would like to point out.

1) While CoroCoro is a good source of info, they admit that this is still considered a rumor, most likely because they're afraid there might be a translation error.  Personally, I think it's probably right, since CoroCoro normally doesn't even put up rumors.

2) I don't think there was ever going to be Sheik in Twilight Princess.  I think what it means by "Original Twilight Version of Sheik" they mean an original version (original meaning "one that hasn't been done before" as opposed to "the first version.") based off of Twilight Princess's style.  Which I'm happy about because I'd really like to see Sheik in the dark and beautiful style of Twilight.

3) Original is quite possibly the dumbest, most ambigiuous word in the English language, having the ability to refer to the first or most recent incarnation of something.

Well it wouldn't matter what Original meant. It could mean a new original twilight design for Sheik and it wouldn't matter. As long as Sheik is in, I'm happy!

yeah, it certainly looks that way.  I can't help but be a little disappointed, as I still think that Zelda shouldn't have to share her spotlight equally with a one time character element, but I'm looking on the bright side, which is that Sheik should have a pretty interesting look with the Twilight Style, and it means I'll still be able to obtain Ninja Kirby.

It actually is...CoroCoro is the one that revealed the pokémon of diamond and pearl before it came out and they weren't kidding. Well same goes for all the other pokémon games. They're a very reliable source.

This gives me more reason to save Zelda instead of Peach. It's a no-brainer now that Sheik is in. When Brawl comes out, I'll complete the rest of the Kirby - Princess phase with Sheik.
