Well, it wouldn't be obvious had it been 7x3 or 10x2. And there's a good picture of the G&W symbol in http://www.smashwiki.com/ That was photoshopped to be like the ones on DOJO. Find it in the Game & Watch Universe page.

it's actually أبو ظبي , but you can use whatever roman character equivalent you feel comfortable with . i don't know the address off the top of my head . for that , you'll have to write to our office in Hum , Croatia .

That's alright. It's just that it's a symbol that was used in Melee. I also feel that it's not right to forget about it just because we don't know of its status in Brawl when it was concretely in Melee. I just feel bad it isn't there when it was in Melee. That's all.

no one forgot about it , it just doens't belong there . it also screws up the dimensionality of the repeating pattern . right now the pattern is 10x4 , which is much better than 7x3 . 7x3 looks terrible . even when the next icon comes out , i'll probably get rid of the DS icon just to keep the dimensions ideal .

If the next symbol does come out...the dimensionality is not really important as long as it makes a good rectangle. If it is 10x2, 7x3, 11x2 or what not it would all look the the same. On a full widescreen, I see 10x4 properly with all icons intact. However, if I restore down the window, it stops right at the smash bros. symbol...remember the dimension problem we talked about in the banner, it's the same thing. It depends on what window you are using. In the whole big picture anyway, it would just look like all icons are there in one background fixed properly because the rectangle would repeat. I used that rectangle of 7x3 on the background of the welcome banner and it looked pretty much like this one. So if you don't include the G&W symbol but a new symbol comes out and it for example is the megaman symbol, whether you remove the ds symbol or not, it will look pretty much the same to those who don't really look at the pattern.

christ on a cracker . . . can't you give it a rest ? it looks good the way it is now . it looks shitty the way that you want to do it . i'm not going to get into details about why because you've already been going on and on about this for a whole page . when you start your own website , then you will have the opportunity to learn why certain things look shitty . until then , you can rest assured that i have everything under control .
