The inclusion of Olimar only adds to the amount of diffrent techniques and fighting styles that are in Brawl, adding flavor and diffrent strategies to the game. We have lots of diffrent ones, so which ones don't you like, do like, think would be interesting, or just plain suck?

I think gliding will give an intresting advantage to some characters. Also Kirby sucking up items powers sounds fun. Beating people over the head with pikmin will be fun too.

Well im really curious about Diddy's fighting style due to these quotes from Sakurai,"Unfortunately, screenshots fail to truly capture the way he moves.
"He scrambles around the battle, using whimsical fighting moves". sounds cool to me  Wink

I'm obviously getting curious about how Zelda's fighting style has changed. If Sheik is out...then she has to be made better. If Sheik is in, I wonder how gracefully she will move now. It's something that's been pending for 6 months now. HAYAYAY!

Frankly, I'm anxious to try out the "Grab and Throw" feature that's been incorporated.
As a close-range type of fighter, I approve of such technical maneuvers.
The side-step has now become my 2nd favorite combat technique.
But that's just me.

You mean shield grabs? These were present in both 64 and Melee. The only difference is that it's much easier to execute in Brawl.

This proves just how long I haven't played either Smash Bros game.
In that case, I suppose during silent moments of cease-fire, I'll keep making taunts in order to break my opponent's nerve.

The one that i might hate is gliding. Its like a super cheap thing. Say your Ivysuar and you are blasting away. But quickly switch to Charzard, fly back, and return as Ivysuar. Or if your Meta Knight, and you fall below the stage, very low, you just glide back up. It wouldnt be so bad if you couldnt glide up or it ran out after awhile. But itll make the object of the game much harder.

Assuming you can switch pokemon in mid-air.  And keep in mind you can't change directions while gliding.  If you end up below the stage, you could glide to somewhere where there isn't a stage above you, but you'd still just be gliding to oblivion.
BTW, who is Meat Knight?  Some sort of armored butcher?
J/K.  But I had to beat DJ to it.

EDIT:
Meat Knight (A.K.A. the Butcher from Diablo):

Gliding isn't as all powerful as most people think it is.  As far as I can tell, it's going to work like Mario's glide ability in Mario 64, which means that while you can technically go up, you're cutting your speed and you won't go up far.

Also, it looks to me like returning via glide will also make you very vulnerable.

Yes, people with glide are going to have an easier time recovering than people who don't, but Samus already had ungodly recover ability and that didn't make her invincible, just a bit harder to get rid off.
