Another Delay?

I agree.  I think it more has something to do with rental sites being lower on shipping lists than retail stores that's causing their delay.  I can't see them knowing something that nobody else does.  They're just not high enough up on the food chain.

OK...you got me there. Yeah...in that case, I don't think there'd be a delay...in that sense. But like I've said many times before...there is a very small chance that it could STILL be delayed.

I agree.  No matter how you cut this, this announcement is an ill omen as it means there's still a chance it's true.  I'm just not going to start flipping out unless
1) Sakurai announces it on his website.
2) Mainstream stores start adjusting their dates (Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart, etc)
3) I see it from a more reliable news source (like IGN) with more supporting evidence.

No, an alleged insider says that an alleged inside bulletin has the date changed.  Their official date still has it as Feb 10th.

Yeah it has to be just a silly little rumour. Though if it's not, on Rockys' command, we will unleash hell...actually we probably wont even need Rockys command all the people that have been waiting for this will go crazy anyways.

I find it hard to believe this article. I wa a little worried when i first read it but you guys need to start thinking about the evidence given to us. As most of you know Japan has already released TV spots for the game which would be a very strange move for Nintendo to do if they intend on releasing it in about 2 weeks. Also, last time they delayed it they gave us a 2 month warning (Oct. 10th) and on top of that they gave us a megaton announcment in the form of Sonic so i highly doubt Olimar is supposed to be the dam that holds the flood of bloodthirsty fans.

I understand that this is supposed to only pertain to the U.S. release date but i wonder if somewhere along the way information was mixed and this is intended to be the European release date? I'm just thinking that they would have said something by now on a shift in the release day, but more than anything else what in the world would cause yet another delay? It's not even a 2 month delay but is going to be about a month only. Sketchy if you ask me.

I doubt of this delay to occur, if it does, I'll still love the game but I truly couldn't handle it.

I'm really doubting this delay now, just due to the lack of response from the rest of the communities.  Sure I can kind of see big name companies not confirming the delay to encourage pre-sales, but IGN hasn't said anything, and they're not going to miss something like this.

More likely, the game was specifically delayed for rental purposes, thus ensuring that they have a month of "you want it, you buy it" sales.
