Well...I hope the character update isn't Sakurai trying to hold us off, but then again he'd have announced it today with Olimar. On one hand I'm worried that Wal-Mart is announcing a delay, but at the same time it's Wal-Mart and not another game-centric store. I honestly can't remember a time that I would have ever gone to Wal-Mart for my gaming questions. If I remember correctly, my cousin told me they didn't even carry Guitar Hero 3 with the Gibson Les Paul controller packed in for a good month after the release date. Wal-Mart sucks.
If Gamestop announced a delay I'd be more worried.

wait now that i think about it, if you go to the main website they have the launch date one the bottum left. It says feb 10, and for some weird reason i think its gonna stay Feb 10.

i don't believe that there will be any delay . if there is , i will break at least one window of a random vehicle or house . if anyone else would like to pledge to do the same in a display of solidarity , then i don't suppose there's anything i can do about that .

yeah , but if you live in the philipines and the game is released in march for the US , does that mean you'll get it sometime in june or july ? |

Heres how i look at it= once i was siting on the coach and reading a Wal mart magazine a couple days before Tanksgiving. I relized how they had Brawls release date as December 3rd. I just laughed and said they needed to go to the dojo. So i think that Wal mart and Game Fly and whoever has Brawl in March has it just so they dont have to change dates on the delays, because they dont know about them. EB games and Gamestop have it as Feb.10th because they actually go to the dojo. If Sakurai sais on an update on day its going to be delayed, then beleve it.

Nope...we'll get it March too...albeit one to two weeks behind you guys. It's fine. February for me is just too busy that I might not even put a hand on my wii to play this game. However, I do want to so badly. Yeah, since I have to restrain myself, I wouldn't mind another delay. |

I agree. I think it more has something to do with rental sites being lower on shipping lists than retail stores that's causing their delay. I can't see them knowing something that nobody else does. They're just not high enough up on the food chain. |
