I think that once in a whlie we should clean out the forums. We would look at all of them and if it is pointless, has another thread just like it, or dead because no one posts, we should delete it. Just so things stay organized and we dont have a bunch of usless threads. I think even if peoples posts go down it should still be done.

If its pointless, wich its not, or been repeated, wich i dont think it is, no. By dead I mean you get about 3 posts and no on puts anything down anymore. If it has 70 posts but since its so old no one posts on it anymore, than itll be OK.

I don't think most threads should be deleted...but more of segregated. I'm thinking of adding a Out of Brawl Section for everything that went to General Discussion that wasn't even Brawl related. I don't think we should delete threads as post numbers would definitely go down. Let's just make a segregation campaign. There should be like assigned website cleaners who'd do all the segregating of these things. Just thinking.

If people stop posting in a thread it falls back ... I don't see any reason to delete them .

YUP! It would be nice though if we could segregate threads so that people could find it easily if they suddenly want the urge to talk about it.

If someone stops posting in a thread for 3 months you can still search for it and bump it back up to the top though..

here's my idea . maybe i will temporarily delete a thread every once in a while , and if no one notices that it's gone after a few weeks or a month , then i'll get rid of it all the way .

I don't see a reason to delete threads.  Like was said before, they'll just slide to the back, there if we ever need them.

Yeah...most likely, some newb would come in and would like to talk about that very topic. And yeah, if we were to remove a thread...I say we go for the biggest one! I think everyone knows what the biggest thread is right?

they slow down the website in the sense that they are essentially inert data that the database software has to sort through .

so long as we don't run out of space and no one complains about website performance times , we are not pressed to remove them .
