Who is Alexander?
Alexander is the character I made for Jacob. He and Charlie are two close friends, and together they are part of the main 16 in the story (both being "secondary mains"). His profile needs to be updated, but here's a link to it: http://smashpower.com/forums/index.php/topic,6858.0.html

Another question related to mah character \o/. Do you think Malik is lacking anything? If you do, then what is he lacking?
I think right now, you shouldn't worry or stress out too much. I'll do the collaboration and tweak him myself. It's all a matter of how much you know at your age, otherwise if you haven't seen what I've seen, you wouldn't come up with the same ideas until you see the things I see. Basically, I watch a lot of crazy stuff and I get ideas like no tomorrow. They're usually for 16+ older so that's what I mean Nonetheless, I will always ask you about something I can add to Malik, so no worries there Make him a drummer too. Tomo (Pablo) says he is a good drummer

Wth? Lol. Superpowered freak.
"Natural: Control over Total Relativity. By implication, the location, speed, and force of physical objects, as well as minimal time control. -Endowed: Control of the 9 elements— water, lightning, light, wind, fire, metal, darkness, earth, and wood. (in that preferred order) He’s incredibly fast because of his Chapter power, and his enemies have a heck of a time battling because the cosmic laws of physics are against them. -Gifted: Control of Radiance; Healing."

I'll let Juan handle this one. Balance exists in not being able to use most of them together. Personally I'm thinking using the "physics" bit for the creation of warps and portals and such, and basing that aspect off of those. Just a thought. Feedback such as this helps perfect a character.

Yep, no worries. I already told Bobby that the 9-element-powers has the balance-treatment, so they're all very weak in power, but effective against those weak against a certain power. It's really a 50/50 stat power for each and every elemental power to balance it out. Otherwise, all of that elemental power would just be overkill. I'll let Juan handle this one. Balance exists in not being able to use most of them together. Personally I'm thinking using the "physics" bit for the creation of warps and portals and such, and basing that aspect off of those. Just a thought. Feedback such as this helps perfect a character. Hey, as long as it makes him unique, go right ahead. Be careful with the elements though. Try to bring in some close-combat influence. Elemental-projectile-magic would be a cheap gameplay element in 2100.

Ah okay. I gotcha guys. So Alexander's elemental powers hold low power. Is it possible for him to train his elemental powers individually? Like make his wood power great but keep fire the same?

It's basically the same as leveling up a skill, just like in RPG games. Depending on what Alexander does the most will determine his strength in said-field.

That makes sense.

There are characters with some humanity in them, which means part of them are human, but only half-human to be exact.

So here's a question related to the above. Alexander and Charlie are both Chapters, and eventually both Valmeerian heirs (when the story starts, Alexander is solely a Chapter). Alexander has power over a sort of "Relativity", and Charlie over light optics. Building on this, Alexander's expertise and strengths are in his Chapter powers, while I've envisioned Charlie's to be in his elemental control (it fits his character). So the question is this - how can a "non-Chapter" trait be justly exemplified? I don't want to do away with his control over light at all--it's his identity--so could maybe his "star energy" (Chapter energy) be focused more into his magic than Alexander's, boosting its strength for him? There are characters with some humanity in them, which means part of them are human, but only half-human to be exact.
I think he's instead a little confused over what races specifically have some humanity in them. (Chatroom discussion says he wants his character to appear largely human)

I don't want to do away with his control over light at all--it's his identity--so could maybe his "star energy" (Chapter energy) be focused more into his magic than Alexander's, boosting its strength for him? All non-Chapters have their own schticks, so there is no limit of creativity with what a character can do. You can go ahead and say something like "Alexander is known for coping well with his own avatar far better than that of most" or "Charles is known for handling the elements very well with the help of his avatar." Although, I think I've been left confused with some of the material you wrote. I assume both of them are heading towards the same direction in terms of Chapter powers? I can see that Charles wants to improve his magic, but what stat-trait does Alexander progress in? I think he's instead a little confused over what races specifically have some humanity in them. (Chatroom discussion says he wants his character to appear largely human) I guarantee everyone that most of the characters look human enough to be called human at first-glance, until the small physical details of course.

Well, Jake doesn't seem fundamentally elementally inclined, while in contrast I am. It's just part of who I am. For Alexander I think he should use all his powers (the same with Charlie) but use his magic more as flavors for his physics-based abilities. Does this make sense or answer your question? @Henry: I know you've seen this link before, but you might want to give it another look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_species_in_folklore_and_mythology
