I know that this might be too early to really answer (since we don't quite know what the character select screen will look like for the first time you load the game), but I was curious as to how you guys are going to start playing. Me, as much as I love using Peach in Melee, I probably will give Wario a try for my first time playing Brawl, since I love using wacky people like him as well.  |

I'm a big fan of Fox in Melee. His fire is really useful, and those powered kicks he has really send enemies flying. So yeah I'll be usin Fox  |

I love my Pikachu but i will most likely be giving Metaknight a spin when i first get it. His whole concept just seems too cool so i can't wait to play him hehe.

I think I'm gonna use Diddy Kong first! Metaknight is the character I am most excited is in the game but I feel like he will be a little overused...

First, I start with my old favorite, Peach, vs. three of the newcomers. If any of them interest me, I'll give them a spin. But I doubt any character will manage to knock Peach off the top of my favorites list.

I would have to try my old favorites first if I still have a good feel for them. And then that's where I'll proceed on which newcomers have a great feel to them. Well, it's just more fun to try out the old before you bring in the new!
