surprised it didn't get in the 9 range, but it's still going to probably be one of my favorite titles of the year.

I'm just glad that the story and gameplay work!

Star Ocean takes forever if you want all the achievements for each character. I spent literally 3 weeks playing as faize while jumping around and killing insects on my own.
