It was JUST announced. Not THAT much news except that it's a new take on the series, Samus talks, and Team Ninja is developing it.
This got old already. And...we can just look up info on the game if we want >_>

Well, we won't know anything about the game if we don't look up stuff from other sites. I'm just saying, there's not that much known about this game yet, it's too early, and people are probably going to forget about this topic, just like the conduit one, BUT like I do best, I revive things, just like the wall cling thing lol  |

I wonder what kind of suit she has in the pictures. Looks like the Varia suit but the design on the arm cannon is telling me otherwise. And is she firing an Imperialist shot from her cannon? Looks like it ;] I hope Team Ninja can bring some more badass physics to the series, like Ninja Gaiden. Here's hoping they give Samus some really cool, new moves, like Ryu Hayabusa. And some hot skimpy space warrior chick clothes :p And I hope they have DOA:BV physics on her body , JK JK |

probably other mission seeing as in Fusion there was something saying that she'll be around for "other missions" or something, so this may be a sequel to Fusion. I hope not lol, I hope it's a new direction in the series, storyline-wise. I think the other M is hinting at Samus having a family member left alive i.e. her SISTER!
She doesn't have a sister. If Team Ninja wants to make her one out of thin air, then it's fine by me, but she was orphaned at a young age. Samus was brought up by the Chozo and they ONLY took care of HER. She's an only child. Mabye other m can mean other man? Maybe Adam comes back!! LOL  one word that describes this all... COOL! (or hot in the case of the first picture ) No, you were right the first time. The temp. changes inside Samus' suit to survive the dangerous temperatures of the natural environments. So in the first pic, I'd bet that she's "cool" in there. |

Hmmm....I was struck by the startling similarities between Samus and the unnamed woman near the end of the trailer. Until I rewatched it I thought they were the same character. You sound like a very spiritual kind of guy. lol :p

Can't be Samus. Chozo blood doesn't allow her to be duplicated. Maybe it's a future version of Samus coming to stop regular Samus from doing something dumb? Or maybe some random scientist related to Admiral Dane. I really don't know where they're going with this T_T *EditIt seems that I MAY have an idea as to what "other m" can really mean. Metroid:Other M...it abbreviates to MOM which is significant with Mother Brain...and a lot of other things just an idea. |

Yeah, I don't think it is Samus...although the whole idea of it being a sister is intriguing. The whole thing with Samus being a "sole survivor" reminds me of Superman (aka Kal-El) being the "sole survivor" of Krypton, which strongly implied him to be the last of his kind. Even with this said of Kal-El, we still have a few Kryptonians who weren't subject to the planet's doom and continued to exist, such as General Zod. Perhaps a sibling of Samus could exist in a similar manner. As to the M in the game's title, what about it being significant of the Roman numeral M, which denotes 1,000? That could make it something like "Metroid: the other 1000". ....but then again these are the thoughts of someone still needing to play a Metroid game for the first time. |
