Actually I remember going to K-Mart when I was really young and seeing Game and Watch games a lot so they were in America too.  But I agree, many younger players won't remember Pit or the Ice Climbers.  Younger kids probably watched the Kirby TV show that had Metaknight and Dedede.

My point, however, was that Geno isn't one of Nintendo's core properties and Isaac's series has kind of gone by the wayside in recent years so he's not exactly in the popular subconcious the way Mario and Zelda are.

Pit isn't a core property either anymore, but there was a time where he stood toe to toe with Mario and Link.  He was even a main character in the Captain N cartoon show along with Simon Belmont and Megaman.

If we hear from Krystal or Jigglypuff next...is anyone ready to call this one confirmed?

Those are the only two updates that would make me believe that the "leaked" roster is real. I'm still not sold on it and in a way i hope it's not all that there will be. I was hoping for more surprises off of the roster but maybe i'm being too greedy. It's possible the roster is legit but honestly, why in the world would Sakurais updates be based off of the order of the Prima list? Are they in the order that they are unlocked? Or is it just a weird coincidence? Or could the whole roster be...*gasp*...fake! I don't see why the leaked roster would be able to follow updates on the Dojo so at this point i will say it's just a coincidence.

I would be quite spooked, but I'm too stubborn to believe that the list is real, unless Ness is revealed at some point. That could convince me.

Maybe Sakurai has some sort of "master list" of characters and that's what he's pulling this order from.  Maybe that's the list that's given out and Prima is using that in their guide.

Only Famitsu and Coro Coro know about the roster for now. No English mags as far as I know.

Well...technically Prima's not a magazine.  It's a company that makes players guides, the don't have a magazine.  I only say this to emphasize the idea that they may have gotten the information to make their players' guide.  I highly doubt they're going to start making their guides after the Japanese game is released.  They're probably at least almost done if not completely finished.

I can also guarantee Nintendo Power knows the roster...it's put out by Nintendo themselves.
