Brawl made a showing at JumpFesta in Japan a few days ago, but apparently the demo wasn’t the same one that was at E for All. How different was it? Well, our own Kokichi got to play it himself. Here are some highlights from Kokichi’s impressions:
# Kirby is potentially better than he was in Melee.
# The items that come from Kirby’s Final Smash might only be obtainable by Kirby himself.
# Wario and Kirby replaced Donkey Kong and Sonic in the character select screen.
# Wario’s remaining two special moves are Bite (Neutral) and “Wario Spin” (Up)
# Wall jumping is in (as seen through Diddy on Temple).
# WarioWare stage has a reward and a punishment system depending on one’s performance though the minigames.

The punishment reward system for Warioware stage sounds interesting.
Can you elaborate on "Kirby is potentially better than he was in Melee." or is that all the information you have? That seems kinda vague.

YAY! Kirby is potentially better! Kirby has been my main character since the N64 days.
He was one of my mains (after Link) on 64. I got significantly less good at him when they nerfed his charging headbutt. Mind you it needed to be nerfed, but still... |

yeah, but honestly the headbutt was the cheesiest move in the game. I could juggle somebody all the way across the stage then smash them once they got to the edge. It's good that it's gone, but I still miss it. |
