I think all the controls on the GCN controller are just fine!  I am going to try the Wiimote+Nunchuk style but I'm probably gonna stick with the GCN controller.  And I'm definitley gonna turn off the tilt jump.  That was so annoying when i tried to preform Link's spin attack without jumping and instead jumped right before I pressed B. Angry  Glad we can turn it off.  Now I can spin in peace.

P.S.: Could you please merge your 2 posts together CR09?  I (and a few others) would appreciate* it. Smiley

*I have no idea how to spell the word.
ditto... the tilt jump is definitely going to be off, seeing that i use link as my default character lol.... the spin attack was always a hit or miss alternative to his down a attack

I can't wait to take off the tilt jump. I never used Up A very much with anyone before. Ill probably stick with my Game Cube controller. If im feeling nuts i might use the normal wiimote (no nunchuck). Only problem i have with using that, is using a joypad. It kills my thumbs after using joypads for more then an hour or two. I remember playing Tony Halk Proskater 3, and not figuring out i could use the controll stick till the end of the game. That was frustrating.

wait, you can't use the d-pad on the N64 controller in super smash bros. 64.

The tilt jump thing has always messed me up.  In 64 playing as Fox i would try to jump and do an up A without using my second jump but it would automatically do my second jump with the Up A.  That pissed me off.

oops, i think im getting confused with another game... well i guess thats the reason analog sticks grew on me- because ssb64 forced me to use them
