Sadly I don't think it's going to happen. The teachers will be too worried that we'll try to copy the games and travel the countryside murdering innocent Goblins and destroying planets.

*reads last few paragraphs* oh yeah, didn't notice that bit. Still, killing goblins... I wish I had Zelda, I have to resort to the Elder Scrolls which isn't nearly as jolly.

I wouldn't call Zelda a jolly game.

How many games do you know that you get turned into a werewolf and you go around dark dungeons full of monsters capable of ripping you apart. Just trying to save some tart, and maybe a world or two.

yes but no-one speaks in sultry hero tones which means its jolly.
If I hear one more soldier say "Sir! if you don't help all of Cyrodil will DIE" I will fucking murder them and all their family.

Certain types of learning games can be very educational because games allow processes to be demonstrated kinaesthetically.  Google something called "Epistemic Games."  It's a program at the University of Wisconsin based on teaching different occupations through games that demonstrate real-life applications of those jobs.

I read an article once that some scientist performed some tests on gamers and non-gamers, it turns out that playing FPSs improves your reaction times.
