I figure it will come out in the summer. Nintendo likes pushing things back, but when they do it is for the right reason. If the game isn't ready come the end of January, they will push it back even more. Though I am pretty sure once Japan gets it, the floodgates will open and we'll know just about everything.

they must be in the final stages of completing the game so i dont expect another 'pushback' delay, they must put in so much work so it comes out right, but the longer it takes, the better the game will be

I don't see them pushing the game back again. You have to believe that they pushed it back only for the finalization on certain aspects of the game. The only argument that they would push it back would be to have a blockbuster summer release. As of now i dont know what Nintendo has to throw down for the summer. Then again, Nintendo is STILL having shortages on Wii's so it's not like SSBB will be on a sales decline any time soon, they will be strong into the next holiday season.

I have a strong hunch that it will be finished on Feb. 10th, because it just looks so far along already! I'll bet that most of the updates that we see on the Dojo are things that were done months ago, but Sakurai is intentionally revealing information little by little only to whet our appetites for when the game is released. Plus, as WanderingGaiden mentioned, once Japan gets the game, Sakurai will probably unveil all of the unlockable things for the game, so I'll more than likely check the Dojo for the very last time when it's released in Japan, in order to avoid spoiling anything. So really, it's almost two months until the game comes in Japan, and once it does, you can guarantee it won't be long before it gets here!

Good point Sigma, those "new" updates were probably finished a long time ago.

Hmm do you guys think Sakurai will really unviel everything on the site when the game comes out in Japan? I would think that he wouldn't let such secrets out just like that. I'm thinking he will keep things quiet but release things on the website in they order of how they will be unlocked in game. This way certain things wont be spoiled for those who haven't gotten to certain parts yet. Just my hunch, who knows.

The odds of a delay at this point are pretty low. Late game delay's rarely happen, and they especially don't happen twice, because the people who decide to delay it have a pretty good idea of what needs to be done.
