Honestly, I've considered the lack in talk about Brawl. This is a smash site named Smash Power and yet our site depicts a normal forum that has no real relation to brawl except the tournaments done. So to solve this gap, everyday, I would release Brawl-related topics that we can talk about discuss and debate over even. The first of which is Team Final Smash Ideas!

If ever there would be a new Smash Bros. created and previous ideas such as the final smash is brought back, what if they upgraded it in such a way that even teams can do it? Do you think there should be special ones for teammates like Mario and Luigi or Fox and Falco? Or should it just be like a FS that can be activated by either player and when it is activated, the effects are simultaneous like Negative Zone Finale. Tell your thoughts here.

Honestly, I would like to have special team Final smashes. Like if Fox and Falco teamed up and one of them gets the Final Smash, both will activate and we could have an air strike FS. Fox and Falco get into the Arwings and both control their Arwings separately to induce damage to the opponents. Or like if Link, Zelda, Ganondorf and/or Toon Link team up, the opponent could be trapped into a triforce then slashed by Link, arrowed by Zelda and pelted by Ganondorf.

So what do you guys think?

Dj, that makes no sense.  That's like total brutal handicap right there; 3 against 1 Sad

Even if it were limited to 2 chars sharing a final smash, that would mean there would have to be 35! (= 1.033 x 1040) combinations to program.

Ouch. That's a lot of programming. And I don't think team FSs would ever happen. Even if you just limited it to 'natural' teams (Fox&Falco, Link&Zelda etc.) it would give an unfair advantage to using these teams.

wrong .

35 + (35^2 + 35) / 2 = 665 .

Woah, that's a lot of programming. But given they do special team combination final smashes, which would you like to see? It may be an unfair advantage but people normally don't choose two people who make the special team final smash. I'm guessing the normal team final smash would just be two different final smashes done at the same time...

1) BOO MATH

2) Sounds like a pleasant idea. But if you get hit by something like that , it'd still knock out one stock (if you're playing a stock match), same as a 1 person FS can.

Dj, we went over this before with you.

Does it really matter if we are talking about Brawl or not?
We are a close community with many diverse people who have subjects that they want to talk about that has little to do with brawl. As long as we make this site worth Rockys money by playin in tourneys i dont really see the problem with talking about other stuff

That was the time when I was doubting if that was correct. I just let it pass. But looking at other Brawl sites, you could see how they talk about it ever fervently that they'd talk about it in 100+ pages and still not get tired of it. And also, that's my point, it's because you and Kevin say that it is not needed that people have become more lax in posting.

If we do want more people to join SP, then let's talk more, it could be not about Brawl but I'm just injecting more Brawl topics so that it would be more like a Smash site.

Or are you implying that you don't want to talk about Brawl anymore and that you don't like the game in-depth.

Heck, I don't even see anyone talking about strategies so that people would learn from each other not just in the online Brawls. Being able to talk about it gives something to practice about.

And hey, what would be the person's first reason to go to a smash site...to talk about smash...and clearly, it's the minority topic here. I'm glad someone brought up the show "there will be Brawl". Smiley (But no one is talking about it so what's the use...)

I'd like to see Ness and Lucas' together - that must really be something to see.

Also Gigabowser on the Ice Mountain. That must be fun.

And 2 landmasters at a time. Truly epic.

Does'nt that kind of force teams to use 2 similar characters when they brawl? It seems too restricting to me.

If they would be able to do that even, the only good thing (well, the best thing) would be the visuals.

and it's partially a good thing that we're not talking about just Brawl, because 1. it would eventually get boring, and 2, it'll balance us from being super addicted/obsessed about it as well...

True enough, if we do not obsess about Brawl, it will keep us grounded, but not talking about it as well isn't healthy as it is a brawl forum. It sort of destroys its purpose. (Just my opinion)

I personally think that if this place was obsessed with brawl then we would just be a bunch of crased fanboys. Why cant we talk about other things as well? Theres more to life than brawl.
