Ok I've done a little bit of thinking and decided to attempt to make an RPG with RPG maker VX based off of Smashpower like Brandon and John tried to do years ago. I think it would make good practice for me as I want to become a game designer, so I am open to any suggestions you may have about the story or characters or even some tips on how to use the program if you have used RPG maker before 

Also if you have any suggestions for a better program to use please let me know about that too.

Some Ideas:

Ever since the decline of SP members here and even the dropout of some memorable members (i.e. Malin, Greg, Robert, etc.), the plot-line can change around a bit in favor of SP's rise and fall.  A deeper look into the RPG's plot:

It is the year 2010... In an abandoned council room lays an unconscious man leaning toward his computer chair.  The ceiling; the computer; the meeting table; the graph behind him (that falls to a great piece); all around him is a dystopia.  The sky is musky and rust-colored.  Every sunrise is nothing but a faint orange glow.  All around this man and the conference table lays a wasteland that goes on and on for miles, and the only one around is..... Rocky.

Rocky, the director and owner of "Smashpower Enterprises" reawakens in the abandoned conference room to find himself in a whole new world.  The one he had both cherished and spite in is all gone.  His girlfriend Amanda, whose fate is unknown; all of the oldest of old members who either had only the smallest contributions to SP, either dead or gone.  When Rocky opens the door out of the room, he stops in what seems to be a horrified yet unsurprised look to his face.  He suddenly realizes that this is the end of the world.

Rocky starts off as the first chapter's main protagonist.  His main goal and objective (or you, the player) is to scatter the wastelands to find any survivors and clues to this cataclysmic event.  Ward off Trolls that crawl and run around, defeat massive Trojan Horses and Spam Mail, encounter some of the worst of the internet itself, and prepare yourself for the personification of mass internet war.

Later on, within the depths of this new world, are 12 different survivors besides Rocky.  These 12 survivors: Kevin, Ryan, Sarah, DJ, Chad, Enoch, Muzy, Henry, Tre, Noah, Zeus, and Brandon, all search the whereabouts of each of their homes, abandoned by their own kind and set on finding any more survivors.  Re-encounter old allies and veterans such as Malin, Greg, Drew, and Zack and add them to your party!  Find new allies such as Alberto and acquaint yourself with non-SP internet-surfers!  Meet with some of the oddest survivors such as Juan, Pablo, Miguel, FROST and Garrett and distinguish between friend and foe!  Face massive bosses, trolls, viruses, giant spam-machines, creativity (I may add a 2100 boss for a cameo thing ), and recruit your members to search for survivors and the missing Rocky, in order to bring back justice to the lands writhing in internet disaster!

This is the ultimate RPG.... This is.... "Smashpower"

EDIT:  I added a bit more and changed the last paragraph and its survivors a bit, feeling as if I unfairly left out the MORE important "survivors."

Ah, an excellent idea! I'd contribute ideas and whatnot, but my head is a bit fuzzy today. As of right now, perhaps a story similar to that of Brawl's SSE, since Brawl is what brought us all together and is at the core of this website?

@Juan: A nifty plot, although it did come off a bit "detached" from what makes SP, well, SP, even though it did have all the members. Maybe make it more SP-site oriented, rather than oriented towards the whole internet? Keeping it within SP-themed plot and occurrences might be a good idea.

I personally think he should be an important figure but not the main protagonist. Well if not rocky then who should it be?
