So Pokemon Platinum has a Japan release date of 13th September 2008. From Kotaku ( http://kotaku.com/5024087/pokemon-platinum-dated-for-japan): DS title Pokémon Platinum details are divulged in the August issue of CoroCoro comics. Besides announcing official Japanese release date is September 13th, there's a bunch of new details like a new "Wi-Fi Club" area that's able to hold up to 20 folks at once, a new Team Galatic member, new international police member, a "Battle Recorder" that allows trainers to record and share battles, and Dialga and Palkia appearing simultaneously in story. GASPS! Shaymin has a confirmed evolved/alt. form! - MUST GET!(?)  I already mentioned Giratina's alt. form somewhere else - I'm remotely interested.  I have no idea WTF is going on here! I'm gonna buy Platinum anyways - I just can't help myself when it comes to Pokemon! |

nope. The male still looks retarded with a beret I play as the female trainer by default now. I did however start a new game in Fire Red the other day as the male trainer - the female trainer in that version wears something resembling a WW1/2 tin hat... ...WTF? |

I bought Diamond and was pretty excited about it, even thinking "wow, this is so nostalgic!" That quickly turned into, "wait a minute, this is the same exact game it was in 1998, wtf?"
They need to stop sitting on the laurels of the series and start actually creating new content that isn't just more monsters. They could have honestly stopped with 150...maybe the Gold and Silver ones...

Actually, the 3rd-generation is my favorite, although, I don't blame ya. I hate the 2nd generation and the 4rth even more (ugh! they look like neopets!). |
