So what do you prefer speed or acceleration. I actually like Fast Speed now for MK Wii instead of Acceleration which I prefer in Double Dash!!

I started an acceleration freak, but lately I've taken a taste for faster speeds. I still can't handle super-heavy speedfreaks, though.

Yeah, super heavy speed is so hard to control, especially on 150cc. It really gets crazy.

That depends... for Time Trials, I go with full speed using the Bowser Bike or the Torpedo, but when playing a Grand Prix or online, due to the randomness that is items, I usually prefer using a bike with better acceleration.

It does depend on the track.
For tracks that demand speed I use the "Nitrocycle".
The rest of the time I use the "Dolphin Dasher" - it has better off-road/acceleration capabilities so is more forgiving than the "Nitrocycle" if you make a mistake.
I underlined "off-road" because that attribute can make a lot of difference on some tracks in MK Wii.

Yeah that's so true. It's just that speed contrasts acceleration in stats. I'm not completely sure but I think off-road and drift are the other contrasts.

I like how moderate karts and bikes work. They really give you enough speed and acceleration to work.
But I've learned that what I really like is decent speed, good acceleration, good handling and off-road capabilities. The Dolphin Dasher. Wario Bike and Sugarscoot all have these. And yes, these are my favorite bikes.

i go with fast acceleration, because when you play online it is certain that you will get pummeled by items, so if you have a kart or bike with great speed but bad acceleration, you are in for a tough race

I use the Bowser Bike. So speed.
I find that if you can get ahead quickly (which I often can), you can prepare yourself for items, and not lose your speed.
The only problem is its offroad. It really slows you down, and takes you forever to get back up to speed.
And if you're Dexter, then its drift is awful too. But I'm not Dexter, so the drift is good.
Savvy?

Mik, my bro uses the flame runner too. I did notice that. That's why i kinda like more balance just to keep it safe.

Weird, I'm back to fast speed. I find that this is right: I find that if you can get ahead quickly (which I often can), you can prepare yourself for items, and not lose your speed.
The only problem is its offroad. It really slows you down, and takes you forever to get back up to speed.
That's why I choose the dolphin dasher more like David that has good off-road capabilities, but still fast speed.

The Dolphin Dasher is pretty good all round - I swear it runs better in water than on dry land (Koopa Cape/Peach Beach).
