That's weird. I do it by when dashing, hitting the c stick to the side then using a A+control stick smash attack.

Snakedash: * Use Snake's dash attack. * Immediately afterwards, cancel it with an UpSmash. This is fairly difficult to do in real time. * Snake should have slid a large distance (about one-third the size of Brawl's Final Destination) and used UpSmash. SNAKE ONLY
Man Joe spam's this, u remeber Joe right Shion?
I find it really good that u made a thread like this one but I just got one little problem, I use the nunchuk!!!!! lol
Easy to fix. Put in your mind. "Fuck Taunts on d-pad" and replace them with smash attacks. I find it even easier to pull off snakedash with mote+chuck modified like that.

I found some more techniques. Shion already posted some of these techniques, but there are some new ones. Also here you can see what the technique looks like.

Turnaround grab is useless for most players, since nobody will just let themselves get bypassed.

haha, I was just thinking that. Who seriously just lets their enemy run past them?

The only way a turnaround will work is if a cliffhanging opponent presses R when on the edge to roll behind you, THEN it might help if you time correctly.

Similar to the turnaround, i watched a vid that showed how if u can predict which way the enemy will roll out of Snakes down grab, you can grab them just as they come out of the roll
pretty much if your lucky its an infinite chain grab.... with extra effort on your part.

I tried this out against lvl 9 computers, it worked perfectly. You've got pretty much a 50/50 chance. Although this makes it probable, I'd like to try it against a human. A computer definitely is not as good as a good player.

hmm. Alright, you still on? By the way, you should try it as you're probably the better Snake user although I've been playing a lot with him since I learned the Snake Dash.

Crap dude, I won't be able to play until later today. Try it with someone else if you can. By the way, I think there's a 1/3 chance of you getting them now because they can roll left, roll right, or attack to get up. You have to shield to stop the attack but you can still grab them again. It's all about guessing what your opponent is going to do.
