EDIT: Appears I made a small mistake. I meant to make the time an hour earlier than what is listed.
I figure this will be a test of how well rounded people are, and also adds a certain bit of pre-game strategy... do you use your best early on to gurantee you stay in, or do you risk it and keep your best for your most vicious foes?
To make it 100% clear: if you use, say, Bowser during the first round, you can't use him again during the tournament. If you use Olimar for your second round, him and Bowser are both off the list of characters you can use for the 3rd round... and so on.
The more people we get for this tournament, the more characters people will have to use, so tell your friends and all that.
EDIT for clarification: You can only use a given character once. But if someone else uses, say, Ike, in the first round, you can still use him if you haven't already.

Woah, this tourney is very interesting. It shows how you deal with your mains and how to balance them. Having one main is sort of a bad thing because it doesn't make you really learn the game and that's why Sakurai does make challenges not only to make playability longer but to improve how you use everyone.

Yep. I sadly havent gotten much farther than GANONDORF and TL. I may join if the time is good though. |

Ya I agree make it at least 9:30 that should be good for most of the people, specially since I go fishing on saturday mornings and have to wake up at 5:00 AM! I'll join for now but I may have to withdraw !! Oh yeah I hope I can use all of my 4 mains (that means that Im gonna win or at least finish second lol) |

Eh... my weekends are usually spent at my cabin, and I didn't want to miss Dr. Who, so I set it to be shortly after it finished. I don't know how weekdays are for everyone, I might end up re-scheduling if weekdays are more convinient for people. |
