Great Aether It’s Ike’s Final Smash, Great Aether. As the name suggests, it’s a more powerful version of Aether.  First things first: get the Smash Ball! Do a standard special move to swing your blazing sword! Great! AETHER! Then he just plummets. At the moment of impact, your foes are launched!That feels gooood... It’s exciting and exhilarating. But, you do have make sure you hit with the Final Smash. Its range of impact is pretty large, so you just have to get the right timing.  Try to lift up multiple enemies!In multiplayer brawls, you can move freely as long as you aren’t the one who’s suffering the Final Smash. Ike is invincible during his Final Smash, so you can’t really meddle with him. But as for the people he’s finishing off...?  Maybe you could add to their woes. Could this be a plan? |

Aether is not only Ike's move, but is also the name of the world that the Luminoth settled on and Samus had to fight on in Prime 2. And Samus was the selected target of the Great Aether in the screen shots.

I think it looks cool but it looks like it'd be to easy to avoid. Just run out of the way while he's in midair (unless you're like Samus in the picture who's getting directly hit) and you'd be ok  |

Cause we know the attack starts from the ground and once your hit up into the air you're in a scripted movement that can't be stopped. Of course you could be meaning if you were the guys on the ground then yes you could easily run out of the way. That's not to say a clever opponent wont throw you directly into the falling attack if he gets the chance  . |

These screen shots don't really do Ike's FS any justice. If you go onto youtube and find him pulling it of in real time it looks badass. It's probably one of my favorite executed moves as far as how it looks.
