Solid Snake is in the game, his body shape and realistic abilities makes other characters possible to be in the game.

Which one of them would you like to see in SSBB?

I would pick Leon S. Kennedy over the others. Duke Nukem's probably my 2nd choice.

sam fisher is too much like snake (and has never been on a nintendo console), lara croft is kind of boring and mainly uses guns for her attacks (and regular guns arent allowed), duke nukem would be insanely weird but he wouldnt be in it because of his association with strippers, nudity, and lots of profanity (and has never been on a nintendo console, i think), james bond is primarily a movie/book character (one of the rules said the character in mind has had to have originated in gaming).

leon would be cool, i think they would be able to make him unique enough so that hed be nothing like snake.

dante would also be cool, though im not sure if a cameo in a viewtiful joe game would be enough to count him as having been on a nintendo console before. and also hed have to use non realistic guns.

of all of them i think simon belmont is the best. belmont would whip people to death, throw some crosses (or holy water, or daggers, or axes), even pull out a sword for some moves if he needed too. his up and b could be having one of the flying things from castlevania 4 (those things you attach on with your whip to swing across places) appear and allow him to swing from it with his whip. i think he would be great.

possible specials:

up+b: read above
side + b: throws a cross, which moves like a boomerang/ or throws a dagger/ axe (you could make them random, ie sometimes he throws a cross, which is the strongest of the 3, sometimes a dagger, which is the weakest, sometimes an axe, which flies in an arc rather than straight).
b: charges whip, making the next attack reach longer than normal (couldnt think of a good one off the top of my head)
down + b: throws holy water on the floor, making blue flames follow the path of the ground

Hmmm Sam Fisher is too much like Snake, just like illnesz stated. Leon Kennedy seems a little impracticle since he relys mostly on his realistic weaponry and any melee abilities may seem like they too would mirror Snake too much. Lara Croft is also highly unlikley for one she brings the realistic weapons that Sakurai doesn't want and she may also be sexing up the game a little more than what Nintendo wants to, i mean seriously how does she stand up?! Only one i would support is Simon Belmont, he's had a great standing on the nintendo handhelds and some on the consoles themselves. I say bring the blade and whip to the game... hehe that sounded dirty.
