The leaderboard

This is the same for mostly all members. When we are in tournys, we get all nervous, shakey, and weird. And if we lose we get overly mad. That's because of the leaderboard we have here. All it does is make people more worried about tournys and how they are doing. If someone is really good at brawl and is last on the leaderboard becuase they always miss tournys or are just unlucky at tournys, people could think the wrong thing. Like Juan. He is really good at Brawl, but can't make most tournys. I think we can tell who is good at brawl from free 1 on 1 matches we do everyday. So I am saying that we should get rid of the leaderboard.

It's not about the rank that I care about. I wanna play tournys without being pressured with how people will look at you when the leaderboard is shown to them. With the leaderboard, I push myself to hard to win and make Bralwing less fun. That's why I don't want a leaderboard with this stress.

but your rank is greater than zero , so the leaderboard only shows that you're better than you would appear to be without a leaderboard .

maybe we should allow members to choose whether or not they want to be ranked , and everyone who doesn't want to be ranked won't have wins or losses scored by them or by their opponents .

Aye, sign me as well.  Remember people, it's just a tourney.  No big deal.  So what if we lose?  Who cares?  When we brawl regularly, we fight for fun without rules dictating our cyber playground.  It's all the matter of having fun, not for attention.

DO NOT LOOK AT THE LEADERBOARD ANYMORE! It's not hard. Stop caring what others think of you, by STOP LOOKING AT THE LEADERBOARD!

perhaps we should restart the leaderboards instead, and remove the policy of missed games = losses.

instead we can make missed games count on a different tally, like a forfeits column on the boards. and if u rack up like 3 forfeits (gotten from missing games, if u forfeit on purpose, or if someone violate the rules of the tourney in a really bad way) in a month u cant join any more tourneys for the remainder of that month. and each new month the tally of forfeits can be wiped clean.

some people prefer having pressure, it can make even some of the matches more exciting. people will fight harder if they know something important is on the line. leaderboards can give more meaning to having tourneys.

as a compromise, perhaps then we could instead specify which tourneys u want to count toward the leaderboard scoring and which you do not want when creating your tourneys.

either way though, im cool with or without having leaderboards, im just saying that these are some reasons why keeping leaderboards is a good idea and how we can improve them.

yeah but i dont think people remember to state whether or not some tourneys are practice or not. or they dont wanna call them practice tourneys bc ppl may not take it seriously.
