So I haven't played this in a week or so due to being kind of busy with college stuff, and now I completely forgot what I was supposed to be doing. Last thing I remember was defeating the giant bird in the forest; could someone remind me where I'm supposed to go next?

Pretty much what DJ said, but in case you forget where New Hampshire is, it's to the right of the region you're on (in this case, where the forest is). In there, you talk to Mitch, who will give you a pass so you can traverse a cave on the North East, which would lead you into the volcanic area where the fire temple is located. BE WARNED! Make sure you have these two things with you: Sacred Necklace, an item that nullifies status such as confusion. You're gonna need it if you want to level-grind against some of the more annoying enemies. You also might want Bobby to know the skill "Sacred Blame", which he should learn around levels 18-20. It's a skill that does at least 1000 damage to all enemies at once. You're going to want this if you have any hopes of completing an extremely grueling challenge at the fire temple. I'll give you a hint. You have to get from one point to another in little time, and guess what won't let you get there in time?"

I love the warning Juan. But like Noah said: The objective is flight not fight. It does help if you do the following things though:
1. At all costs, do not wear fairy shoes. They'll attract the enemies more.
2. Level grind before hand, to be able to do flight, you need speed and that can only be obtained through leveling up. But after two flees and no escape, it is advisable to use Sacred Blame. I did without so it's just a safety precaution.
3. Learn the path. Know the fastest route before hand. Any mistake will mean not getting there in time. I also observed that the less you hesitate on path, the less random encounters.

Oh, and alternatively, you can choose to do this:

Go get Chad in Britain. Dexter is outside to give you the key to the house where he's in. Then, you can opt to go to the Lightning temple. The temple is much easier to beat...except for the aftermath. Tip: Don't forget what TV shows teach you. When you've gotten more experience, you can go to the fire temple.

I love the warning Juan. But...

It's from personal experience. The biggest offenders are the lava fairies because they tend to keep me locked in battle for a long time. It all depends on everyone's luck, though. I managed to do it without Bobby's godly skill, with a second to spare...Damned lava fairies Angry

Yeah, same for me. I managed it DURING the final second. I missed the pedestal, got nervous then put it there at the nick of time. The flamera are annoying but even more annoying are the chimera. They're the ones with the speed afterall.

Ah yes. Turns out I had the pass already and was just getting ready to go through the cave. Now I need to decide where to go next; so much conflicting advice :V

Also finally someone with a multi-target spell that's cheap enough to spam. As my party grows, though, I'm starting to get kind of annoyed at the fact that only people in the active party get healed when I rest at an inn; is this intentional? Same about not being able to access the equipment of characters I'm not currently using, although this isn't quite as annoying as it doesn't mean I have to spend extra money.

And finally I find an item shop again. Is it just me, or is the south strangely lacking in those? You'd think a city as big as New Hampshire would have one, at least.

Lastly, out of curiosity: how are the avoid, critical, status ailment, and fleeing percentages calculated?

I'm sure the program Noah used gives you the percentages. Otherwise, I have no idea.

Personally, I wish this game had some kind of repel item, haha.

Hehe, take the fire route since it's the normal way. I did fail to say you do need a higher level to beat the boss in the lightning temple. It's just that the temple is easier to traverse.

Here's a tip if you want to get free healing. Just travel to Neria Village. It isn't THAT far and it's like a central hub. Of course you'll get to grind in the final dungeon with that healing save crystal. Just switch out your party and heal again. No extra rupee charge.

New Hampshire is big but remember, it's a real city in the real world. Noah decided it best that medieval weapons would not be sold there to stick true to the city. Don't worry about weapons though, there are ones near to either the fire temple or the lightning temple in Britain or Vellum, if I'm not mistaken. Also, there are weapons in the ice region and within the final dungeon as well.

Fleeing is dependent on your speed. The lower your speed, the higher the chance you can't escape. Critical if you've noticed only happens when you attack and not skills. I think the higher your level, the more likely the critical. My guess for avoid is based on defense. Status ailment, I think it's character specific. I notice some rarely affect others while others are just easily affected by them. I didn't take notes though.

Well if there is someone that hasn't downloaded the game then just tell me and I will send the file.

Also a small update on the 2nd Rpg im making, its progressing well although I dont have have that much spare time on my hands I manage to squeeze in an hour or two every now and then. Since I already have all the spells, sprites and enemies (with some new ones) it shouldn't take as long as the first one did. Plus this one is going to have lots more quests and special guests too Tongue I'm also probably gonna make a repel item as requested Tongue

Any other things you would like to suggest feel free to do so.

Should we make another thread for the game? Also, Noah. I think I should show you which sprites I might be using, and in case we coincidentally have the same exact boss sprites, I think we should make the sprites different in color so players don't confuse them for the same "character" and such.
