Wait... So in this update they taught us how to take turns?...

They showed us how turns can be automated.  This could be very useful for

A) Younger players
B) Immature players
C) Work places where a large number of people are coming and going.

It makes it much easier to keep track of/enforce who goes next if it's automated.

i wonder where they would allow you to play against 3 computers  . technically , that's not a group . it's just you , so would htey put that in the 1 player section ? that would be weird . you have to go to 1 player section for 1 v 3c but you have to go to group section for 2 v 2c .

hmm i think that would go under the big fat 'brawl' option, brawl should be nothing gless than melee mode in melee. 1 player should just go to adventure/classic/training/targets/homerun/racetothefinish/whatever

Speaking of the many controller options...why can't they make provisions to put a 8 player brawl...

that's what i was hinting at .

if possible...maybe even a 16 player brawl. That would be smash frenzy!!!

there's nowhere to connect 16 controllers .

wasn't that the Telletubbies (shivers) wait, I just remembered that I had Zero kill them !!!! so never mind

This seemed like a boring feature until I realized that if you have a bunch of people with names in your game, they're settings will be saved as well.  So while yeah, it is an automated version of just taking turns, it also switches names and custom button configurations for you along with any other crazy stuff you can set with names.  So I'm actually really excited about that.  Melee used to own parties and this is just going to make it even more fun/easy.

i think it would be a great feature to have in amoungst quite a few others.. but amoungst only brawl, tourney, and special? i was hoping for 1 or 2 more lyk maybe round robin etc.. i dunno.

Yeah...now I think about it...wouldn't an 8 player brawl be possible. Speaking of 8 player games, one 8-player game I love is Mario Party 7. It's the first non-internet 8-player game I've played. HAHA.
