I have one coin launcher trophy left to collect , and it's not showing up for me . I keep running out of coins after i spend about 3000 at a time at the coin launcher , and my infantry & tanks trophy never shows up .

i know that i'm supposed to shoot all the clusters of enemies to improve my chances of a new trophy .

i know i'm supposed to shoot he missiles to prevent myself from losing coins .

but what is the best way to collect coins in the first place . i racked up 9999 without noticing it the first time , but now i'm empty and i want more , and i don't want to wait . i want them now .

so far , the best payoff i'm making is by doing 100 man brawls , which are bringing in about 350 coins spread out over 5 or 6 attempts .

does anyone have a better method ?

Not really a method for me, but I simple like to gain coins from online brawls. It racks in quite a lot in no time.  Wink

I guess you get at least one coin per KO.

Maybe you could set up a Stage Editor level designed to be a "KO Factory".

This is a KO Factory:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YK1m6ZLYs1U&feature=related

The guy who made this video noted this:
"For good measure, I held up on the wavebird that controlled the bowsers when I turned it on, so they would drop out from halo immediately."

I'm guessing if you did this you'd score KOs (and therefore coins) even faster than in 100-Man Brawl.

You'll have to try it out though.

you won't get any coins if you don't use smash attacks . that method won't yield any coins .

Would an auto-fire pad work?

Or maybe you could rig up one of your ROB's to keep twiddling the "c-button"?

there are no controllers with auto fire c-sticks . i have heard of people setting the wiimote to trigger smashes by vibration , and then rigging them to vibrating chairs , etc . that is too much work for a game .

Coins in a fast way, hmm... I say play solo modes again and again. You get a lot of coins by just playing Tabuu again and again in SSE.

You could bet on spectator mode, but that only gives about 180 on team battles if betting the full 100 and I think 380 on FFA mode.  You could play through SSE again, that gives a lot of coins. I'm not really sure about the fastest way though.

Yeah, and doing the Great Maze + Tabuu over and over again deals the most coins out of the SSE so instead of giving yourself a hard time by doing the whole thing, it's best that you just keep repeating this stage.

i finally got my infantry and tanks trophy . i was jsut about to spend the last of my 5000 coins , when a trophy labelled "NEW" dropped onto my screen . apparently i had zoned out and shot it on accident while indiscriminately shooting at anything that moved .

then to make a mockery of my efforts , it gave me a second infantry and tanks trophy right after that .

in case anyone was wondering , the fastest way to make money is to bet on spectator matches . just bet 1 coin to be safe on normal matches , but wheneve there is a bonus chance , bet 100 coins . normal matches have a probablilistic tendency to make you lose money (just like a real casino) , but when there isa  bonus chance , the odds are in your favor .

assuming a uniform distribution of luck , this method earns about 200 coins every 10 minutes .

now i just have 2 trophies left to get : galleom tank , and stickers .

Galleom Tank was so hard to get but when I got it I was sooo happy!  ...Galleom Tank is the trophy that you get when you beat Boss Battles on Intense, right?
