Anyone who has gotten the newest Nintendo Power mag(issue 229, june 2008) Knows that they are hiding something from us. The last page where they show what is in their mag next month has a pic of a red moon and NP telling us that there are clues in the moon. They also said in response to a readers question in Pulse that they are going to fill us in on a new game next month. All they said about the game was that it will be a shocker. This thread is to discuss what that game might be. We already know about a harvest moon game for the wii, and also a harvest moon is blueish, not red. I think you can all guess what I am thinking right now... PIKMIN 3!!!!!! Space, moon, pikmin... it fits the boat pretty good. I also found on the moon a canyon or something of the like shaped like a man pointing and holding something with an antenae looking thing on it. Olimar and pikmin!!! And if you pay attention to the little things in games, like me, you will see that to the left is a part of the moon that looks like an onion (Pikmin ship) has been there. Feel free to post what you think! Pikmin 3!!!!

Here's a link to the image: http://boards.1up.com/zd/board/print?board.id=games&message.id=693057&page=1&format=page
To me in the middle of the moon it looks like an angel(pit=kid icarus) and in the middle bottom it looks like olimar holding a pikimin(pikimin 3).

Yah it's definitely Castlevania. Heres a chunk of an interview from IGN:
Quote
IGN: Well, we do have to bring up one more thing, as the fans are asking like crazy. What do you have in mind for the future of Castlevania, specifically when in regards to the Wii? Also, do you feel that Castlevania works better as a 2D franchise than a 3D one? It has been very well received on PSX, then on GBA, and now on DS.

Quote
Igarashi: First let me answer the question about 2D and 3D. As you know, the 2D and 3D gameplay has been completely different, and I felt that on DS that 2D was best-suited for the platform, so that's why we stuck with it in 2D for all three games. It was the right type of game for the right system. In regards to the Wii, there's not really much I can say right now. I'm looking at the system, and we're looking to expand the franchise, so I'm sure that in the coming weeks or months you'll be hearing something new.
