Well sometimes something unexpected comes up and if your the host you should be able to make the time good for you. Also, sometimes when you get the rules wrong, since you can't go back and change it, you will have to delete the tourny. If alot of people are already joined into that tourny, deleting it will force everyone to join again.

Yeah, that's pretty much the hassle of it. And of course, we're human and we err so if we do want to change the rules, we should be able to. It is in the ownership of the tourney-maker so yeah. Sarah's definitely right.

I guess we agreed that we can't change the time and dates but I still think we should be able to change the rules.

no . think things through and do them correctly the first time .

at the same time as all of this , i'm hearing complaints about how there are too many tournaments so people don't show up to the ones they sign up for . people want less tournaments ? ok , why don't we stop creating the ones that we can't stand behind ?

yeh, we should like create an advert for a tournament showing what its about and roughly when it is. then people who want to enter can all agree on a time that suits everyone.that way we can make the best out of tourneys.

or we could just do like a monthly tournament. And that be all. Instead of having hundreds of little tournys. I'm pretty it's still fun just versing someone even tho it's not a tourny. Also tournys always seem to be such a hassle. Everyone goes to chat wondering where everyone is and if they're gonna show up and how long they should wait for them to show up before they disqualify them. They turn out to be more stressful then fun. I just think one big tournament a month would work. But thats just imo.

Well if people (including myself) could live up to their commitments then we wouldnt be as frantic\

I think once a month touraments is stupid Rocky put in loads of hard work just so We all can make a tournament any time we want and You guys are being dicks and telling him to throw all his work out the window just so we can have on big tournament a month and since some people cannot keep their schedules having monthy tournaments would be a bad idea. Having the ability to set up your own tournament make things flexible enough that you can set up a tournament on your schedule and not someone elses schedule

Then fact that some people like to change the rules and do theme tournament also make one tournament a month seem stupid because then people who have the idea for all the fun theme tournaments would have less of a chance to spread their ideas. Also their would probably be fighting over the rules of the monthly tourney

it's an idea that a lot of people have thought up , but no one seems to have thought through . how do you suggest we choose the time and type of tournament , if there's only going to be one every month ?

I like a bunch of tourneys, i think it's silly to try and limit the number of tourneys, if you don't want to participate, don't .

Maybe we could have 1 smashpower hosted tourney a month that rocky stickies .

Yah. I like that idea Amanda. And I think if we did that then it would make both sides happy. And Rocky it should just be like the last saturday of every month or something like that? And at a reasonable time for Americans and non-americans who want to be in it. So like 6-7o'clock (8-9 New York Time). But yah. Everyone wouldn't always be able to make but there's always the next month. It'll also be easy to remember since it will always be at the same time same day(kind of).

Maybe it can be limited to just weekends. That way, we have more waiting time for everyone but we can have as many tourneys as we want as well. It's just more fun that way.
