Would it be possible to allow us a block in our profile that supports minimal HTML or maybe just forum tags, for us to display pictures we like and write a little bit about ourselves ?

eta: I can show you an example of a site that does this if you want, it goes over really well there .

If its not possible i totally understand, but malin made me a picture and I wanted to put it on my profile  Cheesy

I said I would show him an example , the other website is my little secret I don't share , not to be rude, but it's my secluded spot ^.^

just think of .. exactly like a post, but with no buttons, so its just a block about 5 inches high and 5 inches wide to do with whatever you want using regular forum codes, or minimal HMTL, like a tiny little page ^.^ does that help?
